上帝曰、爾毋與之偕往、爾毋為之詛民、蓋斯民嘗受福矣。

神对巴兰说：“你不可同他们去，也不可咒诅那民，因为那民是蒙福的。”

上帝对巴兰说：“你不可跟他们去，也不可诅咒这百姓，因为他们是蒙福的。”

神对巴兰说：“你不可与他们同去，也不可咒诅那民，因为他们是蒙福的。”

上帝對巴蘭說：「你不可跟他們去，也不可詛咒這百姓，因為他們是蒙福的。」

上帝曰、爾勿偕往、亦勿詛民、蓋斯民受祝矣、

天主諭巴蘭曰、毋偕之往、毋詛斯民、因斯民已蒙福矣、

But God said to Balaam,“ Do not go with them. You must not put a curse on those people, because they are blessed.”

我將使爾後成為大邦、錫嘏於爾、畀爾顯名、必蒙綏祉。

祝謝吾主耶穌基督父上帝、因基督、使我儕受神貺在天、

我民當憶古昔摩押王巴勒謀害爾曹、庇耳子巴蘭與之黨同、自失亭至吉甲、耶和華之恩澤、爾其念之勿忘。

惟爾上帝耶和華愛爾、故不聽巴蘭、乃變詛為祝。

凡崇事耶和華為上帝者、必蒙福祉、有若此兮。

巴蘭謂巴勒曰、汝燔祭品、當侍於側、我將前往、如耶和華遇我、其所諭言、我必告爾。遂陟童山。

如大闢謂人無為、而被上帝稱義者有福、詩云、人得赦其過、蓋其愆者有福、

上帝與人異、不失其信、不回其志、詎有言出而不行、既許而不應。我受命以祝嘏、上帝祝之、我難反之。

巴勒曰、請偕我至他所、勿觀其全營、乃窺其一隅、庶爾可加詛焉。乃導至鎖腓野、比士迦山巔、爰築壇七、各獻牛羊、謂巴勒曰、爾燔祭物、而侍其側、我往於彼、以覲耶和華。

曰、耶和華指己而誓、曰、因爾行是、不惜嫡子一人、我必大賚爾福祉、昌熾爾子孫、如天星之眾多、如海沙之無量、爾子孫將勝諸敵、因爾遵我命、天下兆民將藉爾裔而受福祉。

方伯坐於堂、夫人使謂之曰、此義人、爾無以為也、我於夢中、不勝為之哀惻焉、○

欲攻雅各家、卜之不利、欲擊以色列、占之不祥、於斯時也、人有言矣、上帝之待雅各以色列、何其奇與、

夫上帝恩賜、召人不易、

今日爾姑宿此、以俟耶和華更有所諭。是夜上帝臨格、諭巴蘭曰、如其人來招、汝姑偕往、然我所諭汝必遵循。

夜靜人寢、偃卧床褥之時、或示夢、或顯異象、言提其耳、靜謐示之、使人改過、去其驕心、

以色列族有福祉、誰能頡頏、蒙耶和華拯救、彼可儗干、以範衛爾、亦可儗戈、使爾得勝、敵必諂媚於爾前、爾將履其崇邱。

凡賴雅各之上帝耶和華、蒙厥眷祐者、福祉孔多兮。
