天主諭巴蘭曰、毋偕之往、毋詛斯民、因斯民已蒙福矣、

神对巴兰说：“你不可同他们去，也不可咒诅那民，因为那民是蒙福的。”

上帝对巴兰说：“你不可跟他们去，也不可诅咒这百姓，因为他们是蒙福的。”

上帝对巴兰说：“你不可跟他们去，也不可咒诅那民族，因为那民族是蒙福的。”

神对巴兰说：“你不可与他们同去，也不可咒诅那民，因为他们是蒙福的。”

上帝曰、爾勿偕往、亦勿詛民、蓋斯民受祝矣、

上帝曰、爾毋與之偕往、爾毋為之詛民、蓋斯民嘗受福矣。

But God said to Balaam,“ Do not go with them. You must not put a curse on those people, because they are blessed.”

我將使爾成為大族、賜福於爾、使爾名揚、俾爾享厚福、

頌美天主、我主耶穌基督之父、曾因基督、使我受種種神福在天、

我民歟、當追念摩押王巴勒所設之謀、與比珥子巴蘭所對之之言、亦當追念自示亭至吉甲所遇之事、則可知主之恩慈、○

惟主爾之天主不聽巴蘭、主爾之天主乃為爾變詛為祝、因主爾之天主愛爾故、

凡有國蒙如此恩惠者、乃為有福、凡有民敬耶和華為天主者、乃為有福

巴蘭謂巴勒曰、爾立於所獻火焚祭之側、我且前往、或者主臨格我、主示我何言、我必告爾、於是巴蘭登崇邱、

人不因所行蒙天主稱義、大衛亦謂其有福、大衛曰、其過得赦、其罪得掩者福矣、

天主非人、萬不食言、非亞當之子、決不後悔、其言豈有不成、其許豈有不應、我奉命祝福、天主亦必賜福、我不能反之、

巴勒曰、求爾偕我往他處、在彼爾可觀之、不能觀其全營、但觀其一隅、或者在彼爾可咒詛之、乃導之至鎖腓木田、在毘斯迦山巔、或作乃導之登毘斯迦山巔在守望之處建祭臺七、於各臺獻犢一、羊一、巴蘭謂巴勒曰、爾立於此、在爾所獻火焚祭之側、我且前往、以待主臨格、

主云、爾既行是、不惜爾獨子、我故指己而誓、必賜福於爾、使爾後裔眾多、如天上之星、如海濱之沙、爾後裔必得敵之城邑為業、緣爾遵行我命、天下萬民、將藉爾後裔得福、

方伯坐堂時、其妻遣人謂之曰、於此義人、爾毋所為、蓋我今日於夢中、不勝為之受苦、

欲攻雅各、法術無益、欲攻以色列、卜筮不利、當此時論雅各及以色列、可云天主所行之事、何其大歟、或作天主所行傳於雅各傳於以色列

蓋天主恩賜及其召人、皆無悔也、

今請爾亦宿此、使我知主更有何言諭我、是夜天主臨巴蘭諭之曰、若其人來招爾、爾可起、與之偕往、然我所諭爾、爾必遵行、

人偃臥於床、酣睡之時、天主或示夢、或以夜間異象、默示之、默示之或作言提其耳垂訓以警之、使人改其惡行、去其驕心、

以色列乎、爾有福祉、何民若爾、為主所救、主護爾如盾、使爾以刃獲勝有榮、敵必諂媚於爾、或作爾敵必服爾爾必履其山岡、

蒙雅各之天主扶助、仰望主其天主者、斯人便為有福、
