The Israelites traveled on and camped in the plains of Moab on the side of the Jordan River across from Jericho.

Then the Israelites traveled to the plains of Moab and camped along the Jordan across from Jericho.

Then the people of Israel set out and camped in the plains of Moab beyond the Jordan at Jericho.

Then the sons of Israel journeyed on, and camped in the plains of Moab beyond the Jordan opposite Jericho.

the water coming downstream toward them stopped flowing. It piled up far upstream at Adam( the city near Zarethan); there was no water at all flowing to the sea of the Arabah( the Salt Sea). The people crossed the river opposite Jericho.

So at that time we took the land of the two Amorite kings in the Transjordan from Wadi Arnon to Mount Hermon

Then Moses ascended from the deserts of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the summit of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho. The LORD showed him the whole land– Gilead to Dan,

These are the commandments and the decisions that the LORD commanded the Israelites through the authority of Moses, on the plains of Moab by the Jordan River opposite Jericho.

The Israelites mourned for Moses in the deserts of Moab for thirty days; then the days of mourning for Moses ended.

and from Bamoth to the valley that is in the country of Moab, near the top of Pisgah, which overlooks the wilderness.

For we will not accept any inheritance on the other side of the Jordan River and beyond, because our inheritance has come to us on this eastern side of the Jordan.”

The two and a half tribes have received their inheritance on this side of the Jordan, east of Jericho, toward the sunrise.”

So it was in the Transjordan, in Moab, that Moses began to deliver these words:

They traveled from the mountains of Abarim and camped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan River across from Jericho.They camped by the Jordan, from Beth-jeshimoth as far as Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab.The LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho. He said:
