定睛仰望為我們的信心創始成終的耶穌。祂為了擺在前面的喜樂，就輕看羞辱，忍受了十字架的痛苦，如今已坐在上帝寶座的右邊。

因為我父的旨意是要叫一切看見兒子並相信的人得到永生，在末日，我要叫他們復活。」

次日，約翰看見耶穌走過來，就說：「看啊！上帝的羔羊，除去世人罪惡的！

律法因為人性軟弱而無法成就的事，上帝親自成就了。祂差遣自己的兒子成為和罪人一樣有血有肉的人，作了贖罪祭，廢掉了罪的權勢，

這福音顯明了上帝的義，這義始於信，終於信，正如聖經上說：「義人必靠信心而活。」

上帝使無罪的基督擔當我們的罪，使我們可以藉著基督成為被上帝接納的義人。

至於我，當我從地上被舉起來時，必吸引萬人歸向我。」

一直犯罪的人是屬魔鬼的，因為魔鬼從起初便犯罪，但上帝兒子的顯現是為了摧毀魔鬼的工作。

「我必將施恩和禱告的靈澆灌在大衛家和耶路撒冷的居民身上。他們必仰望我——他們所刺的那位，如喪獨子一般為祂哀傷，如喪長子一般為祂痛哭。

律法是後來頒佈的，使過犯更多地顯出來，只是哪裡的罪越多，哪裡的恩典就顯得越豐富。罪怎樣掌權帶來死亡，恩典也照樣藉著義掌權，為要藉著我們主耶穌基督帶來永生。

普世的人啊，歸向我吧，你們必蒙拯救，因為我是獨一無二的上帝。
