The people came to Moses and said,“ We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

The others came to Moses. They said,“ We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

And the people came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you. Pray to the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

Then the people came to Moses and cried out,“ We have sinned by speaking against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take away the snakes.” So Moses prayed for the people.

The people then came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned by speaking against the LORD and against you. Intercede with the LORD so that he will take the snakes away from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

So the people came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and against you; intercede with the Lord, that He will remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said,“ We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

And the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, because we have spoken against Jehovah, and against thee; pray unto Jehovah, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

西门回答说：“请你们为我求主，使你们所说的，没有一样临到我身上。”

百姓向摩西哀求，摩西祈求耶和华，火就熄了。

他杀他们的时候，他们才求问他，回心转意，切切寻求上帝。

法老说：“我可以放你们走，在旷野向耶和华—你们的上帝献祭，只是不可走得太远。你们要为我祈祷。”

王对神人说：“请你为我祷告，向耶和华—你的上帝恳求恩惠，使我的手复原。”于是神人向耶和华恳求，王的手就复原了，如平常一样。

现在你们要为自己取七头公牛、七只公羊，到我的仆人约伯那里去，为自己献上燔祭，我的仆人约伯就为你们祈祷。我必悦纳他，不按你们的愚妄处置你们。你们议论我，不如我的仆人约伯说的正确。”

我向耶和华祈祷，说：‘主耶和华啊，求你不要灭绝你的百姓，你的产业。他们是你用大能救赎，用你强有力的手从埃及领出来的。求你记念你的仆人亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各，不看这百姓的顽梗、邪恶、罪愆，免得你领我们出来的那地之人说：耶和华因为不能将这百姓领进他所应许之地，又因恨他们，所以领他们出去，要在旷野杀他们。其实他们是你的百姓，你的产业，是你用大能和伸出的膀臂领出来的。’”

说：“我出卖了无辜人的血有罪了。”他们说：“那跟我们有什么相干？你自己承当吧！”

因此，他说要灭绝他们；若非他所拣选的摩西在他面前站在破裂之处，使他的愤怒转消，恐怕他就灭绝他们了。

弟兄们，我心里所渴望的和向上帝所求的，是要以色列人得救。

法老差派人去召摩西和亚伦来，对他们说：“这一次我犯罪了。耶和华是公义的；我和我的百姓是邪恶的。请你们祈求耶和华，因上帝的雷轰和冰雹已经够了。我要放你们走，你们不用再留下来了。”

第二天，摩西对百姓说：“你们犯了大罪。我如今要上耶和华那里去，或许可以为你们赎罪。”

所以，你们要彼此认罪，互相代求，使你们得医治。义人祈祷所发的力量是大有功效的。

摩西就恳求耶和华—他的上帝，说：“耶和华啊，你为什么向你的百姓发烈怒呢？这百姓是你用大能大力的手从埃及地领出来的！

现在求主显出大能，照你说过的话说：‘耶和华不轻易发怒，且有丰盛的慈爱。他赦免罪孽和过犯，万不以有罪的为无罪，必惩罚人的罪，从父到子，直到三、四代。’求你照你的大慈爱赦免这百姓的罪孽，好像你从埃及到如今饶恕这百姓一样。”耶和华说：“我照着你的话赦免他们。

扫罗说：“我有罪了。现在求你在我百姓的长老和以色列人面前尊重我，同我回去，我好敬拜耶和华—你的上帝。”

扫罗对撒母耳说：“我有罪了！我违背了耶和华的指示和你的命令；因为我惧怕百姓，听从了他们的话。

耶和华对我说：“虽有摩西和撒母耳站在我面前，我的心也不顾惜这百姓。你把他们从我眼前赶出，叫他们出去吧！

众百姓对撒母耳说：“请你为仆人向耶和华—你的上帝祷告，免得我们死亡，因为我们求立王的事，正是罪上加罪了。”撒母耳对百姓说：“不要惧怕！你们虽然行了这恶，却不要偏离耶和华，只要尽心事奉他。不可偏离去随从那没有益处、不能救人的虚无的神明，因为它们是虚无的。耶和华必因他大名的缘故不撇弃他的子民，因为耶和华喜悦你们作他的子民。至于我，我如果停止为你们祷告，就得罪耶和华了，我绝不会这样做。我必以善道正路指教你们。

约伯为他的朋友祈祷。耶和华就使约伯从苦境中转回，并且耶和华赐给他的比他从前所有的加倍。

我要去，我要回到原处，等他们自觉有罪，寻求我的面；急难时他们必切切寻求我。

现在你当把这人的妻子归还给他；因为他是先知，他要为你祷告，使你存活。你若不归还，你当知道，你和你所有的人都必定死。”

耶和华也向亚伦非常生气，甚至要除灭他；那时我也为亚伦祈祷。

西底家王派示利米雅的儿子犹甲和玛西雅的儿子西番雅祭司，去见耶利米先知，说：“求你为我们祈求耶和华—我们的上帝。”
