The people came to Moses and said,“ We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

The others came to Moses. They said,“ We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

And the people came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you. Pray to the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

Then the people came to Moses and cried out,“ We have sinned by speaking against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take away the snakes.” So Moses prayed for the people.

The people then came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned by speaking against the LORD and against you. Intercede with the LORD so that he will take the snakes away from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

So the people came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and against you; intercede with the Lord, that He will remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said,“ We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

And the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, because we have spoken against Jehovah, and against thee; pray unto Jehovah, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

他殺他們的時候，他們才求問他，回心轉意，切切尋求神。

法老說：「我可以放你們走，在曠野向耶和華－你們的神獻祭，只是不可走得太遠。你們要為我祈禱。」

王對神人說：「請你為我禱告，向耶和華－你的神懇求恩惠，使我的手復原。」於是神人向耶和華懇求，王的手就復原了，如平常一樣。

現在你們要為自己取七頭公牛、七隻公羊，到我的僕人約伯那裏去，為自己獻上燔祭，我的僕人約伯就為你們祈禱。我必悅納他，不按你們的愚妄處置你們。你們議論我，不如我的僕人約伯說的正確。」

我向耶和華祈禱，說：『主耶和華啊，求你不要滅絕你的百姓，你的產業。他們是你用大能救贖，用你強有力的手從埃及領出來的。求你記念你的僕人亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各，不看這百姓的頑梗、邪惡、罪愆，免得你領我們出來的那地之人說：耶和華因為不能將這百姓領進他所應許之地，又因恨他們，所以領他們出去，要在曠野殺他們。其實他們是你的百姓，你的產業，是你用大能和伸出的膀臂領出來的。』」

說：「我出賣了無辜人的血有罪了。」他們說：「那跟我們有甚麼相干？你自己承當吧！」

因此，他說要滅絕他們；若非他所揀選的摩西在他面前站在破裂之處，使他的憤怒轉消，恐怕他就滅絕他們了。

弟兄們，我心裏所渴望的和向神所求的，是要以色列人得救。

法老差派人去召摩西和亞倫來，對他們說：「這一次我犯罪了。耶和華是公義的；我和我的百姓是邪惡的。請你們祈求耶和華，因神的雷轟和冰雹已經夠了。我要放你們走，你們不用再留下來了。」

第二天，摩西對百姓說：「你們犯了大罪。我如今要上耶和華那裏去，或許可以為你們贖罪。」

所以，你們要彼此認罪，互相代求，使你們得醫治。義人祈禱所發的力量是大有功效的。

摩西就懇求耶和華－他的神，說：「耶和華啊，你為甚麼向你的百姓發烈怒呢？這百姓是你用大能大力的手從埃及地領出來的！

現在求主顯出大能，照你說過的話說：『耶和華不輕易發怒，且有豐盛的慈愛。他赦免罪孽和過犯，萬不以有罪的為無罪，必懲罰人的罪，從父到子，直到三、四代。』求你照你的大慈愛赦免這百姓的罪孽，好像你從埃及到如今饒恕這百姓一樣。」耶和華說：「我照着你的話赦免他們。

掃羅說：「我有罪了。現在求你在我百姓的長老和以色列人面前尊重我，同我回去，我好敬拜耶和華－你的神。」

掃羅對撒母耳說：「我有罪了！我違背了耶和華的指示和你的命令；因為我懼怕百姓，聽從了他們的話。

耶和華對我說：「雖有摩西和撒母耳站在我面前，我的心也不顧惜這百姓。你把他們從我眼前趕出，叫他們出去吧！

眾百姓對撒母耳說：「請你為僕人向耶和華－你的神禱告，免得我們死亡，因為我們求立王的事，正是罪上加罪了。」撒母耳對百姓說：「不要懼怕！你們雖然行了這惡，卻不要偏離耶和華，只要盡心事奉他。不可偏離去隨從那沒有益處、不能救人的虛無的神明，因為它們是虛無的。耶和華必因他大名的緣故不撇棄他的子民，因為耶和華喜悅你們作他的子民。至於我，我如果停止為你們禱告，就得罪耶和華了，我絕不會這樣做。我必以善道正路指教你們。

約伯為他的朋友祈禱。耶和華就使約伯從苦境中轉回，並且耶和華賜給他的比他從前所有的加倍。

我要去，我要回到原處，等他們自覺有罪，尋求我的面；急難時他們必切切尋求我。

現在你當把這人的妻子歸還給他；因為他是先知，他要為你禱告，使你存活。你若不歸還，你當知道，你和你所有的人都必定死。」

耶和華也向亞倫非常生氣，甚至要除滅他；那時我也為亞倫祈禱。

西底家王派示利米雅的兒子猶甲和瑪西雅的兒子西番雅祭司，去見耶利米先知，說：「求你為我們祈求耶和華－我們的神。」
