The people came to Moses and said,“ We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

The others came to Moses. They said,“ We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

And the people came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you. Pray to the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

Then the people came to Moses and cried out,“ We have sinned by speaking against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take away the snakes.” So Moses prayed for the people.

The people then came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned by speaking against the LORD and against you. Intercede with the LORD so that he will take the snakes away from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

So the people came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and against you; intercede with the Lord, that He will remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said,“ We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

And the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, because we have spoken against Jehovah, and against thee; pray unto Jehovah, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

法老召了摩西、亞倫來，說：「請你們求耶和華使這青蛙離開我和我的民，我就容百姓去祭祀耶和華。」

西門說：「願你們為我求主，叫你們所說的，沒有一樣臨到我身上。」

百姓向摩西哀求，摩西祈求耶和華，火就熄了。

他殺他們的時候，他們才求問他，回心轉意，切切地尋求神。

法老說：「我容你們去，在曠野祭祀耶和華－你們的神；只是不要走得很遠。求你們為我祈禱。」

王對神人說：「請你為我禱告，求耶和華－你神的恩典使我的手復原。」於是神人祈禱耶和華，王的手就復了原，仍如尋常一樣。

現在你們要取七隻公牛，七隻公羊，到我僕人約伯那裏去，為自己獻上燔祭，我的僕人約伯就為你們祈禱。我因悅納他，就不按你們的愚妄辦你們。你們議論我，不如我的僕人約伯說的是。」

我祈禱耶和華說：『主耶和華啊，求你不要滅絕你的百姓。他們是你的產業，是你用大力救贖的，用大能從埃及領出來的。求你記念你的僕人亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各，不要想念這百姓的頑梗、邪惡、罪過，免得你領我們出來的那地之人說，耶和華因為不能將這百姓領進他所應許之地，又因恨他們，所以領他們出去，要在曠野殺他們。其實他們是你的百姓，你的產業，是你用大能和伸出來的膀臂領出來的。』」

「我賣了無辜之人的血是有罪了。」他們說：「那與我們有甚麼相干？你自己承當吧！」

所以，他說要滅絕他們；若非有他所揀選的摩西站在當中，使他的忿怒轉消，恐怕他就滅絕他們。

弟兄們，我心裏所願的，向神所求的，是要以色列人得救。

法老打發人召摩西、亞倫來，對他們說：「這一次我犯了罪了。耶和華是公義的；我和我的百姓是邪惡的。這雷轟和冰雹已經夠了。請你們求耶和華，我就容你們去，不再留住你們。」

到了第二天，摩西對百姓說：「你們犯了大罪。我如今要上耶和華那裏去，或者可以為你們贖罪。」

所以你們要彼此認罪，互相代求，使你們可以得醫治。義人祈禱所發的力量是大有功效的。

摩西便懇求耶和華－他的神說：「耶和華啊，你為甚麼向你的百姓發烈怒呢？這百姓是你用大力和大能的手從埃及地領出來的。

現在求主大顯能力，照你所說過的話說：『耶和華不輕易發怒，並有豐盛的慈愛，赦免罪孽和過犯；萬不以有罪的為無罪，必追討他的罪，自父及子，直到三、四代。』求你照你的大慈愛赦免這百姓的罪孽，好像你從埃及到如今常赦免他們一樣。」耶和華說：「我照着你的話赦免了他們。

掃羅說：「我有罪了，雖然如此，求你在我百姓的長老和以色列人面前擡舉我，同我回去，我好敬拜耶和華－你的神。」

掃羅對撒母耳說：「我有罪了，我因懼怕百姓，聽從他們的話，就違背了耶和華的命令和你的言語。

耶和華對我說：「雖有摩西和撒母耳站在我面前代求，我的心也不顧惜這百姓。你將他們從我眼前趕出，叫他們去吧！

眾民對撒母耳說：「求你為僕人們禱告耶和華－你的神，免得我們死亡；因為我們求立王的事正是罪上加罪了。」撒母耳對百姓說：「不要懼怕！你們雖然行了這惡，卻不要偏離耶和華，只要盡心事奉他。若偏離耶和華去順從那不能救人的虛神是無益的。耶和華既喜悅選你們作他的子民，就必因他的大名不撇棄你們。至於我，斷不停止為你們禱告，以致得罪耶和華。我必以善道正路指教你們。

約伯為他的朋友祈禱。耶和華就使約伯從苦境轉回，並且耶和華賜給他的比他從前所有的加倍。

我要回到原處，等他們自覺有罪，尋求我面；他們在急難的時候必切切尋求我。

現在你把這人的妻子歸還他；因為他是先知，他要為你禱告，使你存活。你若不歸還他，你當知道，你和你所有的人都必要死。」

耶和華也向亞倫甚是發怒，要滅絕他；那時我又為亞倫祈禱。

西底家王打發示利米雅的兒子猶甲和祭司瑪西雅的兒子西番雅去見先知耶利米，說：「求你為我們禱告耶和華－我們的神。」
