人民來見摩西，說：“我們有罪了，因為我們出惡言攻擊耶和華和你；求你向耶和華禱告，叫這些蛇離開我們。”於是摩西為眾人禱告。

The people came to Moses and said,“ We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

The others came to Moses. They said,“ We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

And the people came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you. Pray to the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

Then the people came to Moses and cried out,“ We have sinned by speaking against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take away the snakes.” So Moses prayed for the people.

The people then came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned by speaking against the LORD and against you. Intercede with the LORD so that he will take the snakes away from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

So the people came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and against you; intercede with the Lord, that He will remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said,“ We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

And the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, because we have spoken against Jehovah, and against thee; pray unto Jehovah, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

法老把摩西和亞倫召了來，說：“請你們懇求耶和華，好叫他使青蛙離開我和我的人民，我就必讓這人民離開這裡，使他們可以向耶和華獻祭。”

西門回答：“請你們為我求主，好讓你們所說的，沒有一樣臨到我身上。”

人民向摩西呼求，摩西懇求耶和華，火就熄了，

神擊殺他們的時候，他們就尋求他；他們回轉過來，切切求問神。

法老回答：“我必讓你們離開這裡，你們可以在曠野獻祭給耶和華你們的神，只是你們不可走得太遠；請你們為我祈禱。”

王對神人說：“求你為我向耶和華你的神求情，又為我禱告，使我的手復原。”於是神人向耶和華求情，王的手就復了原，像起先一樣。

現在你們要為自己取七頭公牛、七隻公羊，到我的僕人約伯那裡去，為你們獻上燔祭，我的僕人約伯就替你們禱告；我悅納他的禱告，就不按照你們的愚昧待你們。你們講論我，不如我的僕人約伯說的對。”

我祈求耶和華，說：‘主耶和華啊，求你不要毀滅你的子民，你的產業，就是你藉著你的大能救贖，藉著你有力的手從埃及領出來的。求你記念你的僕人亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各；不要看這民族的頑固、邪惡和罪過，免得你領我們從那裡出來的那地的人說：“耶和華因為不能把他們領進他應許的地，又因為恨他們，所以才把他們領出來，要在曠野殺死他們。”但是，他們是你的子民，是你的產業，又是你藉著大能和伸出來的膀臂領出來的。’”

“我有罪了！我出賣了無辜的人﹙“人”原文作“血”。﹚！”他們說：“這是你的事，跟我們有甚麼關係？”

所以他說要滅絕他們，不是有他揀選的摩西，在他面前站在破口上，使他的怒氣轉消，恐怕他早已毀滅他們了。

弟兄們，我心裡切切盼望的，並且為以色列人向神祈求的，是要他們得救。

於是，法老把摩西和亞倫召了來，對他們說：“這一次我犯了罪了；耶和華是公義的，我和我的人民是有罪的。請你們祈求耶和華吧，因為這雷聲和冰雹已經夠了；我決意讓你們離開，你們不可再留在這裡。”

第二天，摩西對人民說：“你們犯了大罪，現在我要上耶和華那裡去，或者我可以為你們贖罪。”

所以你們應當彼此認罪，互相代求，這樣你們就可以痊愈。義人祈禱所發出的力量，是大有功效的。

摩西就懇求耶和華他的神施恩，說：“耶和華啊，你為甚麼向你的人民發烈怒呢？這人民是你用大能和全能的手從埃及地領出來的。

現在求主大發能力，照著你說過的話：‘耶和華不輕易發怒，且有豐盛的慈愛；他赦免罪孽和過犯；絕不以有罪的為無罪，必追討罪孽，自父到子，直到三四代。’求你照著你的大慈愛，饒恕這人民的罪孽，好像你從埃及直到現在，常赦免這人民一樣。”耶和華說：“我就照著你的話，赦免他們；

掃羅說：“我犯了罪了，但是求你在我人民的長老面前和以色列人面前給我面子，與我一同回去，我好敬拜耶和華你的神。”

於是掃羅對撒母耳說：“我犯了罪了，我違背了耶和華的命令和你的話，因為我害怕眾人，聽從了他們的話。

耶和華對我說：“即使摩西和撒母耳站在我面前代求，我的心也不會轉向這人民。你把他們從我面前趕走，叫他們出去！

眾民對撒母耳說：“求你為僕人向耶和華你的神禱告，免得我們死亡，因為我們為自己要求立王的事，是在我們的一切罪上又增加了這一件惡事。”撒母耳對人民說：“不要懼怕！雖然你們行了這一切惡事，只是不可偏離不跟隨耶和華，總要一心事奉他。不可偏離耶和華，去追隨那些空虛的偶像，因為它們本是空虛的，對人沒有甚麼益處，也不能救人。耶和華為了自己的大名的緣故，必不丟棄他的子民，因為他喜歡使你們作他的子民。至於我，我決不停止為你們禱告，以致得罪耶和華；我要把善道正路教導你們。

約伯替他的朋友禱告，耶和華就恢復約伯原來的景況，還照約伯以前所有的一切加倍賜給他。

我要回到自己的地方去；直到他們承認自己的罪過，尋求我的面。在痛苦中必懇切尋求我。”

現在你要把那人的妻子還給他，因為他是先知，他要為你禱告，你才可以存活。你若不還給他，你當知道，你和所有屬你的，都死定了。”

耶和華也向亞倫發怒，要消滅他；那時候我也為亞倫祈禱。

西底家王差派示利米雅的兒子猶甲和瑪西雅祭司的兒子西番雅，去見耶利米先知，說：“請你為我們向耶和華我們的神禱告。”
