The people came to Moses and said,“ We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

The others came to Moses. They said,“ We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

And the people came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you. Pray to the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

Then the people came to Moses and cried out,“ We have sinned by speaking against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take away the snakes.” So Moses prayed for the people.

The people then came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned by speaking against the LORD and against you. Intercede with the LORD so that he will take the snakes away from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

So the people came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and against you; intercede with the Lord, that He will remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said,“ We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

And the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, because we have spoken against Jehovah, and against thee; pray unto Jehovah, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

王對上帝的僕人說：「請你為我禱告，求你的上帝耶和華使我的手復原。」於是，上帝的僕人向耶和華禱告，王的手就復原了。

現在你們要取七頭公牛和七隻公羊，到我僕人約伯那裡，為自己獻上燔祭，因為你們對我的議論不如我僕人約伯說的有理。我僕人約伯會為你們禱告，我會悅納他的禱告，不按你們的愚妄懲罰你們。」

向祂祈求說，『主耶和華啊，求你不要毀滅你的子民！他們是你的產業，是你用大能的手從埃及拯救出來的。求你看在你僕人亞伯拉罕、以撒和雅各的份上，不要計較這個民族的頑固和罪惡，免得你帶領我們離開之地的人說，你不能把他們領到你應許給他們的地方，你憎惡他們，所以把他們帶到曠野殺了。他們畢竟是你的子民，你的產業，是你伸出大能的臂膀從埃及帶出來的。』

「我出賣了清白無辜的人，我犯罪了！」他們說：「那是你自己的事，跟我們有什麼關係？」

因此祂說要消滅他們。若不是祂所揀選的摩西為他們求情，祂早已在烈怒中毀滅了他們。

弟兄姊妹，我心裡切望並向上帝祈求的，就是以色列人能夠得救。

法老派人召來摩西和亞倫，對他們說：「這次我犯罪了，耶和華是對的，我和我的百姓錯了。請你們向耶和華禱告，好止住雷電和冰雹。我准許以色列人出去，你們不必再留在這裡了。」

第二天，摩西對百姓說：「你們犯了大罪，我現在要到耶和華那裡，也許可以為你們求得赦免。」

所以你們要彼此認罪，互相代禱，好得到醫治。義人的禱告有極大的力量和功效。

摩西懇求他的上帝耶和華說：「耶和華啊，你為什麼要向你的子民發烈怒呢？這些子民是你親自用神蹟和大能從埃及領出來的。

因此，求主彰顯偉大的權能，正如你所宣告的，『耶和華不輕易發怒，充滿慈愛；祂赦免罪惡和過犯，但決不免除罪責，必向子孫追討父輩的罪債，直到三四代。』從他們離開埃及直到現在，你一直在饒恕他們，求你以偉大的慈愛再次赦免這些人的罪。」耶和華說：「我聽你的祈求，赦免他們。

掃羅說：「我犯了罪，但求你在以色列的長老和百姓面前尊重我，求你跟我回去，我好敬拜你的上帝耶和華。」

掃羅對撒母耳說：「我犯罪了！我違背了耶和華的命令和你的指示。我因懼怕百姓，就聽從了他們。

耶和華對我說：「就算摩西和撒母耳站在我面前求情，我也不會憐憫這些百姓。你把他們從我面前趕走吧！

他們求撒母耳，說：「求你為僕人們向你的上帝耶和華祈禱，免得我們死亡！因為我們要求立王是罪上加罪。」撒母耳說：「不要害怕，你們雖然做了這惡事，但不可離開耶和華，要全心全意地事奉祂。不要去追求其他虛無的假神，它們對你們毫無益處，也不能拯救你們。耶和華不會丟棄祂的子民，使自己的大名受損，祂樂意使你們做祂的子民。至於我，我會不斷地為你們祈禱，免得我得罪耶和華。我會教導你們行善道、走正路。

約伯為朋友們禱告後，耶和華恢復了他以前的昌盛，並且耶和華賜給他的比以前多一倍。

我要撇下他們，返回我的居所，直到他們知罪來尋求我。在苦難的日子裡，他們必懇切地尋求我。」

現在你要把那人的妻子還給他，他是個先知，他會為你禱告，使你活命。要知道，如果你不這樣做，你和你的人民都必死。」

耶和華對亞倫非常憤怒，以致要殺掉他，於是我也為他祈求。

西底迦王派示利米雅的兒子猶甲和瑪西雅的兒子祭司西番雅來對耶利米先知說：「求你為我們向我們的上帝耶和華禱告。」
