『我們又轉了身，按到巴珊的路向上去；巴珊王噩和他的眾民都出來對我們接戰，在以得來上陣。永恆主對我說：「不要怕他，因為我已經把他和他的眾民、跟他的地、都交在你手中；你要待他、像待那住希實本的亞摩利人之王西宏一樣。」於是永恆主我們的上帝也將巴珊王噩、和他的眾民都交在我們手中；我們擊殺了他們，連一個殘存的人都沒有給他留下。那時我們攻取了他所有的城市；在巴珊之噩的國、亞珥歌伯全區、共有六十座城，沒有一座城我們不奪取來的。這些城是堡壘城，有高牆，有門有閂；此外還有很多鄉下人的市集。我們把這一些都盡行毁滅歸神，像待希實本王西宏一樣，把一切有男丁的城市、連女人帶小孩都盡行毁滅歸神；

於是摩西將亞摩利王西宏的國、和巴珊王噩的國、那地、和屬那地的城市、在境界裏、連四圍之地的城市、都給了他們，就是給了迦得子孫、如便子孫、和約瑟子孫瑪拿西半個族派。

用巴珊的橡樹作你的槳；用基提沿海地帶的黃楊木鑲嵌着象牙做你的艙板。

也喫牛奶酪、羊奶子，同羊羔的脂肪、和公綿羊，巴珊種的公牛和公山羊，同頂肥美的麥子；你也喝了血紅的葡萄汁起泡沫的酒。

他們的境界是從瑪哈念起，包括巴珊全地、巴珊王噩全國、並在巴珊的睚珥所有的帳篷村、六十個城，

『在撒瑪利亞山的巴珊母牛啊，你們要聽這話！你們欺壓貧寒，壓碎窮苦，對你們的丈夫說：「拿來，我們喫喝吧！」

大地悲哀衰殘；利巴嫩羞辱枯爛；沙崙好像原野；巴珊迦密把樹葉都抖掉了。

有許多公牛圍繞着我；有巴珊的雄壯公牛困住我。

巴珊山、神妙莊嚴的山！巴珊山、多峰多嶺的山！

你們可以喫勇士的肉，喝地上首領的血；就如喫公綿羊、羊羔、公山羊、公牛的肉；都是巴珊的肥畜。
