So Israel made a vow to the Lord and said,“ If You will indeed hand over this people to me, then I will utterly destroy their cities.”

以色列人向耶和华发愿说：“你若将这民交付我手，我就把他们的城邑尽行毁灭。”

以色列向耶和华许愿说：“你若把这百姓真的交在我手中，我就把他们的城镇彻底毁灭。”

Then Israel made this vow to the Lord:“ If you will deliver these people into our hands, we will totally destroy their cities.”

Then Israel made a promise to the Lord. They said,“ Hand these people over to us. If you do, we will set their cities apart to you in a special way to be destroyed.”

And Israel vowed a vow to the Lord and said,“ If you will indeed give this people into my hand, then I will devote their cities to destruction.”

Then the people of Israel made this vow to the Lord:“ If you will hand these people over to us, we will completely destroy all their towns.”

And she made a vow and said,“ Lord of armies, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your bond servant and remember me, and not forget Your bond servant, but will give Your bond servant a son, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and a razor shall never come on his head.”

How he swore to the Lord And vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob,

I will pay my vows to the Lord, May it be in the presence of all His people,

you shall most certainly strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword. Utterly destroy it and all who are in it and its cattle, with the edge of the sword.
