他作王第三年就差遣大臣、有才德的人：俄巴底、撒迦利雅、拿坦業、米該亞、在猶大各城去教訓人。同他們去的有利未人示瑪雅、尼探雅、西巴第雅、亞撒黑、示米拉末、約拿單、亞多尼雅、多比雅、駝巴多尼雅這些利未人；又有祭司以利沙瑪、約蘭、和他們一同去。他們在猶大教訓人，也隨身帶着永恆主的律法書：他們環遊到猶大各城，在民間教訓人。

其次是提哥亞人修造的；但是他們貴顯的人不用肩膀擔負起他們主子的工作。

因為律法是藉着摩西而頒賜；恩典與「真實」乃是藉着耶穌基督而來的。

摩西將律法告誡我們、作為雅各大眾的基業。

因為永恆主是審判我們的，永恆主是給我們定律例的，永恆主是我們的王；是他在救助我們。

從以耶亞巴琳往前行，就在底本迦得紮營。從底本迦得往前行，就在亞門低比拉太音紮營。從亞門低比拉太音往前行，就在尼波前面的亞巴琳山紮營。

只有一位是立法者是論斷者，就是能救人能滅人的那一位。你是誰，你這論斷鄰舍的？

那時大祭司以利亞實和他的同業弟兄做祭司的起來，建造了羊門；他們把這門分別為聖，又安立了它的門扇；又修造了城牆直到哈米亞譙樓，把它分別為聖、直到哈楠業譙樓。

現今世富足的人呢、你要囑咐他們別存着高傲的心，不要把盼望釘住於財富之無定上，卻要釘住於那將萬物豐豐富富供給我們享受、的上帝；囑咐他們要行善，要在好事上富足，甘心施捨，樂意同人分享，
