From there they continued on to Beer, the well where the Lord said to Moses,“ Gather the people together and I will give them water.”

From there the Israelites continued on to Beer. That was the well where the Lord spoke to Moses. He said,“ Gather the people together. I will give them water to drink.”

约坦因躲避他的兄弟亚比米勒就逃跑，去到比珥，住在那里。

看哪，我要在何烈的磐石那里，站在你面前。你要击打磐石，水就会从磐石流出来，给百姓喝。”摩西就在以色列的长老眼前这样做了。

你们必从救恩的泉源欢然取水。

“你拿着杖去，和你的哥哥亚伦召集会众，在他们眼前吩咐磐石涌出水来，水就会从磐石流出，给会众和他们的牲畜喝。”

圣灵和新娘都说：“来！”听见的人也要说：“来！”口渴的人也要来，愿意的人都可以白白取生命的水喝。

他们不饥不渴，炎热和烈日必不伤害他们；因为怜悯他们的必引导他们，领他们到水泉旁边。

节期的最后一天，就是最隆重的一天，耶稣站着，喊着说：“人若渴了，到我这里来喝！信我的人，就如经上所说：‘从他腹中将流出活水的江河来。’”耶稣这话是指信他的人要受圣灵说的；那时还没有赐下圣灵，因为耶稣还没有得到荣耀。

耶稣回答她说：“你若知道神的恩赐，和对你说‘请给我水喝’的是谁，你早就会求他，他也早就会给了你活水。”

天使又让我看一道生命水的河，明亮如水晶，从神和羔羊的宝座流出来，

谁喝我所赐的水，就永远不渴。我所赐的水要在他里面成为泉源，直涌到永生。”

困苦贫穷人寻找水，却寻不着；他们因口渴，舌头干燥。我—耶和华必应允他们，我—以色列的神必不离弃他们。我要在光秃的高地开江河，在谷中开泉源；我要使沙漠变为水池，使干地变为涌泉。

野地的走兽要尊敬我，野狗和鸵鸟也必尊敬我。因我使旷野有水，使沙漠有河，好赐给我的百姓、我的选民喝。

他又对我说：“成了！我是阿拉法，我是俄梅戛；我是开始，我是终结。我要把生命的泉水白白赐给那口渴的人喝。
