From there they continued on to Beer, the well where the Lord said to Moses,“ Gather the people together and I will give them water.”

約坦因怕他弟兄亞比米勒、就逃跑，逃到比珥，住在那裏。

看吧，我必站在你前面，在何烈磐石那裏；你要擊打磐石，就有水從磐石裏出來，讓人民喝。』摩西就在以色列長老眼前這樣行了。

你們要從救恩之泉源歡喜快樂地打水。

『你拿着手杖，召集會眾，你和你哥哥亞倫要召集他們；你們要在他們眼前吩咐磐石出水；你要為他們從磐石上引出水來、給會眾和他們的牲口喝。』

聖靈和新婦說、『來』。聽見的人也該說、『來』。口渴的可以來；願意的可以白取生命之水。

他們必不饑餓，不口渴，炎熱和烈日必不傷害他們，因為憐憫他們的、必率領他們，引導他們到水泉旁。

在末一天、節期的大日子、耶穌站着，喊着說：『人若渴了，讓他來找我喝；信我的人就如經上所說：「必有活水之江河，從他腹中流出。」』但這句話耶穌是指着聖靈說的，就是信他的人將要領受的；那時聖靈還沒有來，因為耶穌還沒有得榮耀。

耶穌回答她說：『你若曉得上帝白白的恩，和對你說「請給我喝」的是誰，你就早已求他，他就早已給你活水了。』

天使指給我看在城內街道當中有一道生命水之河，明亮如水晶從上帝和羔羊的寶座間流出來。

惟獨凡喝我所要給的水的，一定永遠不渴；我所要給的水、必在他裏面成為水泉，直湧歸永生。』

困苦貧窮人尋求着水，也沒有水；他們的舌頭因口渴而乾燥；我永恆主必應他們，我以色列的上帝必不離棄他們。我必在無草木的高處上開出江河來，在峽谷中開闢泉源；我必使曠野變為水塘，使乾旱之地變為出水之源。

野地的走獸必尊重我，野狗和鴕鳥必崇敬我，因為我使曠野有水，使荒野有江河，好給我人民、我所揀選的、喝，

他對我說：『成了。我是阿拉法，是俄梅戛；是起初，是末終。我必將生命水之泉源白白分給口渴的人。
