From there they continued on to Beer, the well where the Lord said to Moses,“ Gather the people together and I will give them water.”

約坦因怕他弟兄亞比米勒，就逃跑，來到比珥，住在那裏。

所以，你們必從救恩的泉源歡然取水。

「你拿着杖去，和你的哥哥亞倫招聚會眾，在他們眼前吩咐磐石發出水來，水就從磐石流出，給會眾和他們的牲畜喝。」

聖靈和新婦都說：「來！」聽見的人也該說：「來！」口渴的人也當來；願意的，都可以白白取生命的水喝。

不飢不渴，炎熱和烈日必不傷害他們；因為憐恤他們的必引導他們，領他們到水泉旁邊。

節期的末日，就是最大之日，耶穌站着高聲說：「人若渴了，可以到我這裏來喝。信我的人就如經上所說：『從他腹中要流出活水的江河來。』」耶穌這話是指着信他之人要受聖靈說的。那時還沒有賜下聖靈來，因為耶穌尚未得着榮耀。

耶穌回答說：「你若知道神的恩賜，和對你說『給我水喝』的是誰，你必早求他，他也必早給了你活水。」

天使又指示我在城內街道當中一道生命水的河，明亮如水晶，從神和羔羊的寶座流出來。

人若喝我所賜的水就永遠不渴。我所賜的水要在他裏頭成為泉源，直湧到永生。」

困苦窮乏人尋求水卻沒有；他們因口渴，舌頭乾燥。我－耶和華必應允他們；我－以色列的神必不離棄他們。我要在淨光的高處開江河，在谷中開泉源；我要使沙漠變為水池，使乾地變為湧泉。

野地的走獸必尊重我；野狗和鴕鳥也必如此。因我使曠野有水，使沙漠有河，好賜給我的百姓、我的選民喝。

他又對我說：「都成了！我是阿拉法，我是俄梅戛；我是初，我是終。我要將生命泉的水白白賜給那口渴的人喝。
