From there they continued on to Beer, the well where the Lord said to Moses,“ Gather the people together and I will give them water.”

约坦因怕他弟兄亚比米勒，就逃跑，来到比珥，住在那里。

我必在何烈的磐石那里，站在你面前。你要击打磐石，从磐石里必有水流出来，使百姓可以喝。”摩西就在以色列的长老眼前这样行了。

所以，你们必从救恩的泉源欢然取水。

“你拿着杖去，和你的哥哥亚伦招聚会众，在他们眼前吩咐磐石发出水来，水就从磐石流出，给会众和他们的牲畜喝。”

圣灵和新妇都说：“来！”听见的人也该说：“来！”口渴的人也当来；愿意的，都可以白白取生命的水喝。

不饥不渴，炎热和烈日必不伤害他们；因为怜恤他们的必引导他们，领他们到水泉旁边。

节期的末日，就是最大之日，耶稣站着高声说：“人若渴了，可以到我这里来喝。信我的人就如经上所说：‘从他腹中要流出活水的江河来。’”耶稣这话是指着信他之人要受圣灵说的。那时还没有赐下圣灵来，因为耶稣尚未得着荣耀。

耶稣回答说：“你若知道神的恩赐，和对你说‘给我水喝’的是谁，你必早求他，他也必早给了你活水。”

天使又指示我在城内街道当中一道生命水的河，明亮如水晶，从神和羔羊的宝座流出来。

人若喝我所赐的水就永远不渴。我所赐的水要在他里头成为泉源，直涌到永生。”

“困苦穷乏人寻求水却没有；他们因口渴，舌头干燥。我耶和华必应允他们；我以色列的神必不离弃他们。我要在净光的高处开江河，在谷中开泉源；我要使沙漠变为水池，使干地变为涌泉。

野地的走兽必尊重我；野狗和鸵鸟也必如此。因我使旷野有水，使沙漠有河，好赐给我的百姓、我的选民喝。

他又对我说：“都成了！我是阿拉法，我是俄梅戛；我是初，我是终。我要将生命泉的水白白赐给那口渴的人喝。
