以色列人又往前走，來到比珥。耶和華曾在那裡對摩西說：「把民眾招聚起來，我要給他們水喝。」

From there they continued on to Beer, the well where the Lord said to Moses,“ Gather the people together and I will give them water.”

From there the Israelites continued on to Beer. That was the well where the Lord spoke to Moses. He said,“ Gather the people together. I will give them water to drink.”

約坦因懼怕他的兄弟亞比米勒，就逃往比珥居住。

我必在何烈的磐石那裡等候你們，你用杖擊打磐石，磐石必流出水來給眾人喝。」摩西便當著以色列長老的面這樣做了。

你們必從救恩的泉源歡然取水。

「你拿著杖和你哥哥亞倫招聚會眾，當著他們的面吩咐磐石流出水來，水就會從磐石流出，供會眾和牲畜喝。」

聖靈和新娘都說：「來吧！」聽見的也要說：「來吧！」口渴的，讓他來吧！願意的，讓他白白享用生命水吧！

他們不再饑渴，也不再被熱風和烈日灼傷，因為憐憫他們的那位必引導他們，領他們到泉水邊。

節期最後一天，也是整個節期的高潮，耶穌站起來高聲說：「人若渴了，可以到我這裡來喝。正如聖經所言，信我的人，『從他裡面要流出活水的江河來』。」耶穌這話是指信祂的人要得到聖靈，但當時聖靈還沒有降臨，因為耶穌還沒有得到榮耀。

耶穌回答說：「要是你知道上帝的恩賜，又知道向你要水喝的是誰，你早就求祂了，祂也早就把活水給你了。」

天使讓我看城內街道當中一道流淌著生命水的河，清澈如水晶，從上帝和羔羊的寶座那裡流出。

但是喝了我所賜的活水，永遠不會再渴。我所賜的水要在他裡面成為生命的泉源，湧流不息，直到永生。」

「貧窮困苦的人找不到水喝，他們口乾舌燥。但我耶和華必應允他們的呼求，我——以色列的上帝不會撇棄他們。我要使光禿的山嶺上江河奔流，山谷中泉水湧流；我要使沙漠變成水塘，使乾地冒出泉水。

曠野的走獸必尊崇我，其中有豺狼和鴕鳥，因為我使曠野有甘泉，使沙漠有江河，供我揀選的子民飲用。

祂又對我說：「一切都成了！我是阿拉法，我是俄梅加；我是開始，我是終結。我要將生命泉的水白白賜給口渴的人。
