Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.

“ Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink.”

And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness,[ and] rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.

He clave the rocks in the wilderness, and gave[ them] drink as[ out of] the great depths.He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers.

And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this[ which is done] to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive[ them], and ye shall have[ them].

And at the stream of the brooks that goeth down to the dwelling of Ar, and lieth upon the border of Moab.

Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places[ like] a river.

And the LORD said unto him, What[ is] that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.

[ When] the poor and needy seek water, and[ there is] none,[ and] their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

And gavest them bread from heaven for their hunger, and broughtest forth water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and promisedst them that they should go in to possess the land which thou hadst sworn to give them.

And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts[ also].

And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that[ were] in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that[ were] in the river were turned to blood.

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

So the people shouted when[ the priests] blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long[ blast] with the ram’s horn,[ and] when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.

The princes digged the well, the nobles of the people digged it, by[ the direction of] the lawgiver, with their staves. And from the wilderness[ they went] to Mattanah:

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

For he spake, and it was[ done]; he commanded, and it stood fast.

Which turned the rock[ into] a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall[ your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry[ ground] through the midst of the sea.

And they thirsted not[ when] he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out.
