The wild beasts will honor me, the jackals and the ostriches, for I give water in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to my chosen people,

He split rocks in the wilderness and gave them drink abundantly as from the deep.He made streams come out of the rock and caused waters to flow down like rivers.

So Moses said to Joshua,“ Choose for us men, and go out and fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the staff of God in my hand.”

And Jesus answered them,“ Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain,‘ Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.

The Spirit and the Bride say,“ Come.” And let the one who hears say,“ Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.

And Jesus answered them,“ Have faith in God.Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain,‘ Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

and the slope of the valleys that extends to the seat of Ar, and leans to the border of Moab.”

Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.”

Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

He opened the rock, and water gushed out; it flowed through the desert like a river.

The Lord said to him,“ What is that in your hand?” He said,“ A staff.”

When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue is parched with thirst, I the Lord will answer them; I the God of Israel will not forsake them.I will open rivers on the bare heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys. And Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock with his staff twice, and water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their livestock.

And when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, when you hear the sound of the trumpet, then all the people shall shout with a great shout, and the wall of the city will fall down flat, and the people shall go up, everyone straight before him.”

Jesus answered her,“ If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you,‘ Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”The woman said to him,“ Sir, you have nothing to draw water with, and the well is deep. Where do you get that living water?Are you greater than our father Jacob? He gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did his sons and his livestock.”Jesus said to her,“ Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again,but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

So Moses took his wife and his sons and had them ride on a donkey, and went back to the land of Egypt. And Moses took the staff of God in his hand.

All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.

Lift up your staff, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, that the people of Israel may go through the sea on dry ground.

They did not thirst when he led them through the deserts; he made water flow for them from the rock; he split the rock and the water gushed out.
