“ Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink.”

你手裏要拿這杖，好行神蹟。」

耶和華對摩西說：「你手裏拿着你先前擊打河水的杖，帶領以色列的幾個長老，從百姓面前走過去。我必在何烈的磐石那裏，站在你面前。你要擊打磐石，從磐石裏必有水流出來，使百姓可以喝。」摩西就在以色列的長老眼前這樣行了。

野地的走獸必尊重我；野狗和鴕鳥也必如此。因我使曠野有水，使沙漠有河，好賜給我的百姓、我的選民喝。

他在曠野分裂磐石，多多地給他們水喝，如從深淵而出。他使水從磐石湧出，叫水如江河下流。

摩西對約書亞說：「你為我們選出人來，出去和亞瑪力人爭戰。明天我手裏要拿着神的杖，站在山頂上。」

耶穌回答說：「我實在告訴你們，你們若有信心，不疑惑，不但能行無花果樹上所行的事，就是對這座山說：『你挪開此地，投在海裏！』也必成就。

聖靈和新婦都說：「來！」聽見的人也該說：「來！」口渴的人也當來；願意的，都可以白白取生命的水喝。

耶穌回答說：「你們當信服神。我實在告訴你們，無論何人對這座山說：『你挪開此地，投在海裏！』他若心裏不疑惑，只信他所說的必成，就必給他成了。所以我告訴你們，凡你們禱告祈求的，無論是甚麼，只要信是得着的，就必得着。

並向亞珥城眾谷的下坡，是靠近摩押的境界。」

耶和華豈有難成的事嗎？到了日期，明年這時候，我必回到你這裏，撒拉必生一個兒子。」

向來你們沒有奉我的名求甚麼，如今你們求，就必得着，叫你們的喜樂可以滿足。」

他打開磐石，水就湧出；在乾旱之處，水流成河。

耶和華對摩西說：「你手裏是甚麼？」他說：「是杖。」

困苦窮乏人尋求水卻沒有；他們因口渴，舌頭乾燥。我－耶和華必應允他們；我－以色列的神必不離棄他們。我要在淨光的高處開江河，在谷中開泉源；我要使沙漠變為水池，使乾地變為湧泉。

從天上賜下糧食充他們的飢，從磐石使水流出解他們的渴，又吩咐他們進去得你起誓應許賜給他們的地。

摩西舉手，用杖擊打磐石兩下，就有許多水流出來，會眾和他們的牲畜都喝了。

摩西、亞倫就照耶和華所吩咐的行。亞倫在法老和臣僕眼前舉杖擊打河裏的水，河裏的水都變作血了。

天使又指示我在城內街道當中一道生命水的河，明亮如水晶，從神和羔羊的寶座流出來。

於是百姓呼喊，祭司也吹角。百姓聽見角聲，便大聲呼喊，城牆就塌陷，百姓便上去進城，各人往前直上，將城奪取；

他們吹的角聲拖長，你們聽見角聲，眾百姓要大聲呼喊，城牆就必塌陷，各人都要往前直上。」

耶穌回答說：「你若知道神的恩賜，和對你說『給我水喝』的是誰，你必早求他，他也必早給了你活水。」婦人說：「先生，沒有打水的器具，井又深，你從哪裏得活水呢？我們的祖宗雅各將這井留給我們，他自己和兒子並牲畜也都喝這井裏的水，難道你比他還大嗎？」耶穌回答說：「凡喝這水的還要再渴；人若喝我所賜的水就永遠不渴。我所賜的水要在他裏頭成為泉源，直湧到永生。」

摩西就帶着妻子和兩個兒子，叫他們騎上驢，回埃及地去。摩西手裏拿着神的杖。

這井是首領和民中的尊貴人用圭用杖所挖所掘的。以色列人從曠野往瑪他拿去，

五旬節到了，門徒都聚集在一處。忽然，從天上有響聲下來，好像一陣大風吹過，充滿了他們所坐的屋子，又有舌頭如火焰顯現出來，分開落在他們各人頭上。他們就都被聖靈充滿，按着聖靈所賜的口才說起別國的話來。

因為他說有，就有，命立，就立。

他叫磐石變為水池，叫堅石變為泉源。

你們雖然不好，尚且知道拿好東西給兒女；何況天父，豈不更將聖靈給求他的人嗎？」

這些人同着幾個婦人和耶穌的母親馬利亞，並耶穌的弟兄，都同心合意地恆切禱告。

你舉手向海伸杖，把水分開。以色列人要下海中走乾地。

耶和華引導他們經過沙漠。他們並不乾渴；他為他們使水從磐石而流，分裂磐石，水就湧出。
