“ Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink.”

這手杖你要拿在手裡，用來行神蹟。”

耶和華回答摩西：“你要到人民的面前，要帶著以色列的幾個長老和你一起，手裡要拿著你先前擊打河水的杖。看哪，我必在何烈山那裡的磐石上站在你面前；你要擊打磐石，就必有水從磐石流出來，使人民可以喝。”摩西就在以色列的長老眼前這樣行了。

野地的走獸必尊重我，野狗和鴕鳥也必這樣，因為我使曠野有水，使荒地有江河，好使我揀選的子民有水喝，

他在曠野使磐石裂開，給他們水喝，多如深淵的水。他使水從磐石中湧出來，使水好像江河一般流下。

摩西對約書亞說：“你要為我們選出人來，出去和亞瑪力人爭戰；明天我要站在山頂上，手裡拿著神的杖。”

耶穌回答他們：“我實在告訴你們，如果你們有信心，不懷疑，不但能作我對無花果樹所作的，就是對這座山說‘移開，投到海裡去’，也必成就。

聖靈和新娘都說：“來！”聽見的人也要說：“來！”口渴的人也要來！願意的人都要白白接受生命的水！

耶穌回答他們：“你們對神要有信心（“你們對神要有信心”有些抄本作“如果你們對神有信心”）。我實在告訴你們，無論甚麼人對這座山說‘移開，投到海裡’，只要他心裡不懷疑，相信他所說的一定能夠成就，就必給他成就。所以我告訴你們，凡是你們禱告祈求的，只要相信能夠得到，就必得到。

以及河谷的斜坡，這斜坡伸展到亞珥城的地方，就是靠近摩押邊境的。”

耶和華豈有難成的事嗎？到明年這個時候，我要回到你這裡來，那時，撒拉必生一個兒子。”

你們向來沒有奉我的名求甚麼；現在你們祈求，就必定得著，讓你們的喜樂滿溢。

他裂開磐石，水就湧流出來；在乾旱之處水流成河。

耶和華問摩西：“那在你手裡的是甚麼？”他說：“是手杖。”

困苦和貧窮的人尋求水，卻沒有水；他們的舌頭因口渴而乾燥；我耶和華必應允他們，我以色列的神必不離棄他們。我要在光禿的高處開闢江河，在山谷之間開闢泉源；我要使曠野變為水池，使乾地變成水泉。

你從天上賜下糧食，給他們充飢，吩咐水從磐石流出來給他們解渴；你又吩咐他們進去佔領，你舉手起誓要賜給他們的那地。

摩西舉手，用杖擊打磐石兩次，就有很多水流出來，會眾和他們的牲畜都喝了。

摩西和亞倫就這樣行了，就像耶和華所吩咐的；亞倫在法老面前和法老的臣僕面前舉起手杖，擊打河裡的水，河裡的水就都變了血。

天使又指示我一道明亮如水晶的生命水的河流，從神和羊羔的寶座那裡流出來，

於是人民呼喊，祭司也吹角。人民聽見角聲的時候，就大聲呼喊，城牆就塌陷了；於是，人民衝入城中，人人向前，把城攻取。

當羊角吹起長號，你們聽見角聲的時候，全體人民要大聲呼喊，那時城牆就必塌陷；你們各人要向前直衝。”

耶穌回答她：“你若知道神的恩賜，和對你說‘請給我水喝’的是誰，你必早已求他，他也必早把活水賜給你了。”婦人說：“先生，你沒有打水的器具，井又深，你從哪裡得活水呢？我們的祖先雅各把這口井留給我們，他自己和子孫以及牲畜都喝這井的水，難道你比他還大嗎？”耶穌回答：“凡喝這水的，還要再渴；人若喝我所賜的水，就永遠不渴。我所賜的水要在他裡面成為湧流的泉源，直湧到永生。”

摩西就帶著他的妻子和孩子，讓他們騎在驢上，向著埃及地回去了；摩西手裡拿著神的杖。

這井是領袖挖掘的，是民間的尊貴人，用圭用杖挖掘的。”以色列人從曠野到了瑪他拿，

五旬節到了，他們都聚集在一起。忽然有一陣好像強風吹過的響聲，從天而來，充滿了他們坐在裡面的整間屋子。又有火燄般的舌頭顯現出來，分別落在他們各人身上。他們都被聖靈充滿，就照著聖靈所賜給他們的口才，用別種語言說出話來。

因為他說有，就有；命立，就立。

他使磐石變為水池，使堅石變為水泉。

你們雖然不好，尚且知道把好東西給自己的兒女，何況天父，豈不更把聖靈賜給求他的人嗎？”

這些人和幾個婦女，耶穌的母親馬利亞，還有他的兄弟們，都在一起，同心地恆切禱告。

你要把你的杖舉起來，向海伸手，把海分開，叫以色列人下到海中走乾地。

耶和華領他們走過荒野的時候，他們並不乾渴；他為他們使水從磐石流出來。他裂開磐石，水就湧出來。
