“ Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink.”

耶和華對摩西說：「你帶著之前擊打尼羅河水的杖，率領以色列的幾個長老走在眾人前面。我必在何烈的磐石那裡等候你們，你用杖擊打磐石，磐石必流出水來給眾人喝。」摩西便當著以色列長老的面這樣做了。

曠野的走獸必尊崇我，其中有豺狼和鴕鳥，因為我使曠野有甘泉，使沙漠有江河，供我揀選的子民飲用。

祂在曠野劈開磐石，供應他們豐沛的水源。祂使水從磐石中滾滾流出，如滔滔江河。

摩西對約書亞說：「選一些人出去迎戰亞瑪力人。明天，我會帶著上帝的杖站在山頂上。」

耶穌回答說：「我實在告訴你們，如果你們有信心、不懷疑，不但能使無花果樹枯乾，就算對這座山說，『從這裡挪開，投進大海裡！』也照樣可以實現。

聖靈和新娘都說：「來吧！」聽見的也要說：「來吧！」口渴的，讓他來吧！願意的，讓他白白享用生命水吧！

耶穌說：「要對上帝有信心。我實在告訴你們，不論何人，只要有信心，毫不疑惑，就是對這座山說，『從這裡挪開，投進大海裡！』也必定為他成就。所以我告訴你們，你們禱告時無論求什麼，只要相信已經得到了，就必得到。

以及河谷的斜坡——靠近摩押邊界並延伸到亞珥城。」

什麼事難得住耶和華呢？明年這時候，我會再來你這裡，撒拉必生一個兒子。」

你們從來沒有奉我的名求過什麼，你們現在求，就必得到，好使你們的喜樂滿溢。

祂使磐石裂開、湧出水來，在乾旱之地奔流成河。

耶和華對摩西說：「你手裡拿的是什麼？」摩西說：「是一根手杖。」

「貧窮困苦的人找不到水喝，他們口乾舌燥。但我耶和華必應允他們的呼求，我——以色列的上帝不會撇棄他們。我要使光禿的山嶺上江河奔流，山谷中泉水湧流；我要使沙漠變成水塘，使乾地冒出泉水。

他們餓了，你賜下天糧給他們吃；他們渴了，你使磐石流出水給他們喝。你吩咐他們去佔領你起誓賜給他們的土地。

接著，摩西舉起手中的杖擊打磐石兩下，水便噴湧而出，會眾和牲畜都喝了。

摩西和亞倫就按著耶和華所吩咐的去做，亞倫在法老和埃及眾臣僕面前舉杖擊打尼羅河水，河水都變成了血。

天使讓我看城內街道當中一道流淌著生命水的河，清澈如水晶，從上帝和羔羊的寶座那裡流出。

於是，民眾聽到號角聲時，就高聲呐喊，城牆便坍塌了。民眾便一擁而上，佔領了耶利哥城，

當你們聽到號角長鳴時，所有的人都要高聲吶喊，城牆就會坍塌，眾人便可以直衝上去。」

耶穌回答說：「要是你知道上帝的恩賜，又知道向你要水喝的是誰，你早就求祂了，祂也早就把活水給你了。」婦人說：「先生，你沒有打水的器具，井又深，你從哪裡得到活水呢？我們的祖先雅各把這口井留給我們，他自己和他的兒女、牲畜都喝這井裡的水，難道你比他更偉大嗎？」耶穌說：「人喝了這井裡的水，還會再渴，但是喝了我所賜的活水，永遠不會再渴。我所賜的水要在他裡面成為生命的泉源，湧流不息，直到永生。」

於是，摩西拿著上帝的杖，帶著妻子和兒子騎驢返回埃及。

它是首領挖的，是民中的貴族掘的，用令牌和權杖挖掘的。」他們從曠野前往瑪他拿，

五旬節那天，門徒聚集在一起。忽然，天上發出一陣響聲，好像狂風呼嘯而過，充滿了他們所在的房子，又有火焰般的舌頭顯現出來，分別落在各人的頭上。大家都被聖靈充滿，得到聖靈所賜的才能，說起別的語言來。

因為祂一發話，就創造了天地；祂一命令，就立定了萬物。

因為祂使磐石變成水池，使岩石湧出泉水。

你們雖然邪惡，尚且知道把好東西給兒女，天父豈不更要賜聖靈給那些求祂的人嗎？」

他們和耶穌的母親瑪麗亞、耶穌的弟弟們及幾個婦女在一起同心合意地恆切禱告。

你舉手向海伸出手杖，把海水分開，以色列人可以從中間的乾地走過去。

耶和華帶領他們經過沙漠，他們也不會口渴。為了他們，祂使水從磐石中流出，祂使磐石裂開、湧出水來。
