So they perished from among the community.All the Israelites who were around them fled at their cry, for they said,“ What if the earth swallows us too?”Then a fire went out from the LORD and devoured the 250 men who offered incense.

Then all the community raised a loud cry, and the people wept that night.And all the Israelites murmured against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them,“ If only we had died in the land of Egypt, or if only we had perished in this wilderness!

Now 14,700 people died in the plague, in addition to those who died in the event with Korah.

When the people complained, it displeased the LORD. When the LORD heard it, his anger burned, and so the fire of the LORD burned among them and consumed some of the outer parts of the camp.

The men whom Moses sent to investigate the land, who returned and made the whole community murmur against him by producing an evil report about the land,those men who produced the evil report about the land, died by the plague before the LORD.

But while the meat was still between their teeth, before they chewed it, the anger of the LORD burned against the people, and the LORD struck the people with a very great plague.So the name of that place was called Kibroth Hattaavah, because there they buried the people that craved different food.

The entire company of Israelites murmured against Moses and Aaron in the desert.The Israelites said to them,“ If only we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat, when we ate bread to the full, for you have brought us out into this desert to kill this whole assembly with hunger!”

because it did not shut the doors of my mother’s womb on me, nor did it hide trouble from my eyes!“ Why did I not die at birth, and why did I not expire as I came out of the womb?

Those who died by the sword are better off than those who die of hunger, those who waste away, struck down from lack of food.י( Yod)
