以色列族遄征、離庇尼雅干泉、至摩西拉、亞倫死於彼、葬於彼、其子以利亞撒繼為祭司。

亞倫之聖衣、必遺其子孫、使衣之以受香膏、任為祭司。凡其子孫代為祭司、進會幕、役事於聖所必衣是衣、歷至七日。

去亞倫之禮衣、以衣其子、待亞倫終於彼、而返其本。

今願耶和華祐爾、使爾亨通、為爾上帝耶和華建殿、循其所言。願耶和華賦爾智慧、恪守其律例、用治以色列族。

我素行遊爾中、傳上帝國之道、今而後、知爾不復見我矣、故我今日、自為爾證、爾眾沉淪、我無尤焉、我以上帝旨告爾、無隱乎爾、○故當自慎、亦慎全群、聖神立爾為督者、牧上帝教會、彼以流血而贖之、蓋我知去後、必有殘狼入爾中、不惜其群、

摩押地、耶利哥相向之所、有亞巴林山、尼破岡、汝可陟焉、瞻望迦南、乃我所錫於以色列族為業之地。既陟此山、汝必死於彼、而返其本、如爾兄亞倫沒於何耳山、而返其本然。

耶和華上帝乎、爾以生氣賜於億兆、請立一人、統轄會眾、出入於民前、為民先導、免致耶和華會眾猶羊之無牧。耶和華諭摩西曰嫩之子約書亞、其人感於神、汝可簡取、按手其上、置於祭司以利亞撒及會眾前、付托以命、以汝尊榮、加諸其身、使以色列會眾、無不遵循、彼必立於祭司、以利亞撒前、以利亞撒用烏陵、諮諏我意、彼及以色列會眾、必聽斯命而出入。摩西簡約書亞立於祭司以利亞撒、及會眾前、按手其上、以命托之、遵耶和華命焉。

故黽勉使爾、於我沒世之後憶斯道、

如是耶和華之僕摩西、沒於摩押、踐耶和華之言、

耶穌永存、故其祭司職、未嘗易人、凡賴耶穌而至上帝前者、耶穌能救之、蓋彼恆存以保我、

以色列族出自埃及、歷四十年、五月朔、祭司亞倫、遵耶和華命、陡何耳山而死、壽一百二十三歲。當時亞臘王、居於迦南之南境、聞以色列族至其國。以色列族離何耳山、張幕於薩摩拿、自薩摩拿、張幕於部嫩、自部嫩、張幕於阿泊、自阿泊、張幕於以雅亞巴林、近摩押界、自此而往、張幕於底本伽得、自底本伽得、張幕於亞門特拉太音、自此而往、張幕於尼破前、亞巴林山、離亞巴林山、張幕於摩押平原、約但河旁、耶利哥相對之所、沿河建營、自伯耶西末起、至摩押平原、亞伯示亭止。○

摩西在以色列眾前、召約書亞、告之曰、強乃志、壯乃心、昔耶和華與列祖發誓、以斯土予民、爾必偕行、使彼得之、耶和華為爾先導、左右爾、不遺棄爾、毋恐懼、毋畏葸。○

耶和華賜我眾子、在眾子中、簡所羅門奉命踐以色列國位。諭我曰、爾子所羅門、將建我殿我院、蓋我簡彼為子、我將為其父。如彼恆遵我禁令法度、一如今日、我必永其國祚。今我在以色列族耶和華會前、對上帝告爾有眾、當恪守爾上帝耶和華禁令、則汝可據此腴壤、遺於子孫、以為恆業。我子所羅門、宜知爾父之上帝、誠心悅意事之、蓋耶和華鑒察人心、知悉人意、求之無弗得、遺之永見棄。

大闢命以色列族群臣、咸助其子、曰、

夫摩西嘗按手於嫩之子約書亞、感以智神、使之充盈、故以色列族聽從、遵耶和華所諭摩西之命。
