Moses removed Aaron’s garments and put them on his son Eleazar. And Aaron died there on top of the mountain. Then Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain,

我子歟、願耶和華偕爾、願爾亨通、建爾上帝耶和華之室、循其所言、願耶和華賦爾睿智聰明、使爾受命治以色列、守爾上帝耶和華之律、

我素與爾交遊、宣上帝國、今知爾眾、不復覿我面矣、故我今日為證於爾、眾人之血、我無與焉、蓋上帝之旨、我無隱諱、悉宣於爾、爾當自慎、亦慎全羣、乃聖神立爾監督於其中、以牧上帝之會、即以己血所購者也、我知我去後、將有兇狼入爾中、不惜其羣、

摩押地、耶利哥相對之所、亞巴琳山、尼波崗、爾其陟之、瞻望迦南、我所錫於以色列族為業之地、爾既陟之、必死於彼、而歸乃祖、如爾兄亞倫死於何珥山、而歸其祖然、

請耶和華、世人諸神之上帝、簡立一人、統轄會眾、出入其前、導之往返、免耶和華會眾、猶羊之無牧、耶和華諭摩西曰、嫩之子約書亞、乃感於神、汝可取之、按手其上、置於祭司以利亞撒及會眾前、付託以命、以汝尊榮、加諸其身、使以色列會眾無不聽從、彼必立於祭司以利亞撒前、以利亞撒為之諮諏烏陵於耶和華前、彼及以色列會眾、必聽其命而出、亦聽其命而入、摩西遵耶和華命、取約書亞、使立於祭司以利亞撒及會眾前、按手其上、以命託之、循耶和華所諭摩西之命、

我且殷勤、使爾於我逝後、時能憶斯、

於是耶和華之僕摩西卒於摩押、如耶和華所言、

惟此以永存故、其職則不易也、故凡賴之以近上帝者、悉能救之、以其恆生為之籲求也、○

摩西召約書亞、於以色列眾前諭之曰、強乃志、壯乃心、爾必與民偕往、入耶和華誓賜其祖之地、使得為業、耶和華為爾先導、與爾同在、不棄爾、不遺爾、勿畏懼、勿驚惶、○

耶和華賜我多子、在我子中簡我子所羅門、居耶和華國之位、以治以色列人、且諭我曰、爾子所羅門將建我室及院、蓋我簡之為我子、我將為其父、彼若恆遵我誡命律例、有如今日、我必堅定其國、歷世弗替、今在耶和華會、以色列眾前、我上帝亦聞之、爾其尋求爾上帝耶和華之誡命、而遵守之、致爾據此美地、遺之子孫、以為永業、我子所羅門歟、當識爾父之上帝、盡心樂意以事之、蓋耶和華鑒察眾心、洞悉意想、爾若尋之、則必遇之、爾若棄之、彼必永久棄爾、

大衛又命以色列諸牧伯、助子所羅門曰、

嫩之子約書亞、因摩西曾按手其首、充以智慧之神、以色列人聽從之、遵耶和華所諭摩西之命、
