And the holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him, to be anointed in them, and to be consecrated in them.Seven days shall the son that is priest in his stead put them on, when he cometh into the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place.

Get thee up into this mountain of Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession;and die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people, as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people:

Let Jehovah, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation,who may go out before them, and who may come in before them, and who may lead them out, and who may bring them in; that the congregation of Jehovah be not as sheep which have no shepherd.And Jehovah said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay thy hand upon him;and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight.And thou shalt put of thine honor upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may obey.And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall inquire for him by the judgment of the Urim before Jehovah: at his word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.And Moses did as Jehovah commanded him; and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation:and he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge, as Jehovah spake by Moses.

Yea, I will give diligence that at every time ye may be able after my decease to call these things to remembrance.

So Moses the servant of Jehovah died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of Jehovah.

but he, because he abideth for ever, hath his priesthood unchangeable.Wherefore also he is able to save to the uttermost them that draw near unto God through him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of Jehovah, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.And Aaron was a hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.And the Canaanite, the king of Arad, who dwelt in the South in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.And they journeyed from mount Hor, and encamped in Zalmonah.And they journeyed from Zalmonah, and encamped in Punon.And they journeyed from Punon, and encamped in Oboth.And they journeyed from Oboth, and encamped in Iye- abarim, in the border of Moab.And they journeyed from Iyim, and encamped in Dibon- gad.And they journeyed from Dibon- gad, and encamped in Almon- diblathaim.And they journeyed from Almon- diblathaim, and encamped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.And they journeyed from the mountains of Abarim, and encamped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.And they encamped by the Jordan, from Beth- jeshimoth even unto Abel- shittim in the plains of Moab.

And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of good courage: for thou shalt go with this people into the land which Jehovah hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.And Jehovah, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

And of all my sons( for Jehovah hath given me many sons), he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of Jehovah over Israel.And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts; for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.And I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to do my commandments and mine ordinances, as at this day.Now therefore, in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of Jehovah, and in the audience of our God, observe and seek out all the commandments of Jehovah your God; that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children after you for ever.And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Jehovah searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

David also commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying,

And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as Jehovah commanded Moses.
