Remove Aaron’s garments and put them on his son Eleazar, for Aaron will be gathered to his people; he will die there.”

Take Aaron’s official robes off of him. Put them on his son Eleazar. Aaron will die on Mount Hor. He will join the members of his family who have already died.”

『亞倫將要被收殮歸他先族人了；他必不得以進我所賜給以色列人的地，因為在米利巴水的事上、你們違背了我所吩咐的。

『亞倫的聖衣要傳給他後代的子孫，要穿着來受膏，要穿着來承受聖職。他的子孫接替他做祭司的、進會棚在聖所供職的時候、要穿着七天。

這樣看來，倘若藉着利未人的祭司職分能有完全勝任的資格（而人民之領受了律法倒是以這職分為基本），哪裏還需要另一種的一位祭司興起來、是照麥基洗德的等次、而不稱為照亞倫的等次呢？

再者，先前的人被立為祭司，是人數眾多，因被死攔阻而不能長期任職；惟獨他、因永遠長存、就有不能讓與人的祭司職分。

將你的禮褂給他穿上，將你的長腰帶給他繫緊，將你的政權交在他手中；他必做耶路撒冷居民和猶大家的父。我必將大衛家的鑰匙放在他的肩頭上；他開，就沒有人能關；他關，就沒有人能開。
