“ Aaron will be gathered to his people. He will not enter the land I give the Israelites, because both of you rebelled against my command at the waters of Meribah.

“ Aaron will join the members of his family who have already died. He will not enter the land I am giving to the Israelites. Both of you refused to obey my command. You did it at the waters of Meribah.

“ Let Aaron be gathered to his people, for he shall not enter the land that I have given to the people of Israel, because you rebelled against my command at the waters of Meribah.

“ The time has come for Aaron to join his ancestors in death. He will not enter the land I am giving the people of Israel, because the two of you rebelled against my instructions concerning the water at Meribah.

看了以後，你也必被收殮歸你先族人，像你哥哥亞倫被收殮一樣。

至於你呢，你卻要安安然然地歸回你列祖那裏，得享長壽，受人埋葬。

摩西、亞倫就召集了大眾到磐石前；摩西對他們說：『悖逆的人哪，聽吧！難道我們要叫水從這磐石中流出來給你們麼？』摩西舉手，用手杖把磐石擊打了兩下，就有許多水流了出來，會眾和他們的牲口都喝了。永恆主對摩西、亞倫說：『因為你們不信我，不在以色列人眼前尊我為聖，故此你們必不得領這大眾進我所賜給他們的地。』

雅各對他的眾子吩咐完了，就把腳收在床上，氣絕而死，被收殮歸他先族人。

那一代的人也都被收殮歸他們列祖；他們之後，有另一代的人起來、不認識永恆主，也不知道永恆主為以色列人所行的事。

以撒年紀老邁，歲數滿足，氣絕而死，被收殮歸他先族人；他的兒子以掃雅各把他埋葬了。

以實瑪利一生的年日是一百三十七歲；他氣絕而死，就被收殮歸他先族人。

他又囑咐他們說：『我將要被收殮歸我先族人了；你們要將我埋葬在赫人以弗崙田地間的洞裏，和我祖我父在一處，

革順子孫一切的事務、他們在所應當抬、應當辦的事務上、都要照亞倫和他兒子們所吩咐的：他們所應當抬的、你都要將職守派給他們。

看吧，我必將你收殮歸你列祖，使你安安然然被收殮入墳墓。我所要降於這地方和這地方居民的一切災禍、你也不至於親眼看到。」』聽了所說的，他們就將這話回覆了王。
