When we cried out to the LORD, he heard our plea, and sent an angel, and brought us out of Egypt. Now look, we are in Kadesh, a city on the border of your territory.

我们哀求耶和华的时候，他听了我们的声音，差遣使者把我们从埃及领出来。这事你都知道。如今，我们在你边界上的城加低斯。

我呼籲耶和華、蒙其垂聽、遣使導我出埃及、今在加低斯、爾國之疆隅也、

我呼籲耶和華、耶和華垂聽、遣使導我出埃及、今在迦鐵、爾國之疆隅也。

我儕呼籲主、主垂聽、遣使者導我出伊及、今我在迦叠、爾國之邊界、

but when we cried out to the Lord, he heard our cry and sent an angel and brought us out of Egypt.“ Now we are here at Kadesh, a town on the edge of your territory.

Then the angel of God, who was going in front of the Israelite forces, moved and went behind them. The pillar of cloud moved from in front of them and stood behind them.

I will send an angel ahead of you and will drive out the Canaanites, Amorites, Hethites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

“ I am going to send an angel before you to protect you on the way and bring you to the place I have prepared.

Then the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire within a bush. As Moses looked, he saw that the bush was on fire but was not consumed.So Moses thought,“ I must go over and look at this remarkable sight. Why isn’t the bush burning up?”When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called out to him from the bush,“ Moses, Moses!”“ Here I am,” he answered.“ Do not come closer,” he said.“ Remove the sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”Then he continued,“ I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look at God.Then the LORD said,“ I have observed the misery of my people in Egypt, and have heard them crying out because of their oppressors. I know about their sufferings,and I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and to bring them from that land to a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey— the territory of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.So because the Israelites’ cry for help has come to me, and I have also seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them,

After a long time, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned because of their difficult labor, they cried out, and their cry for help because of the difficult labor ascended to God.God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up and there were the Egyptians coming after them! The Israelites were terrified and cried out to the LORD for help.

Furthermore, I have heard the groaning of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are forcing to work as slaves, and I have remembered my covenant.
