We are men also, with the same nature as you, and we are proclaiming good news to you, that you should turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and everything in them.

So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.

Then Paul said to him,“ God is going to strike you, you whitewashed wall! You are sitting there judging me according to the law, and in violation of the law are you ordering me to be struck?”And those standing nearby said,“ Do you dare revile God’s high priest?”“ I did not know, brothers, that he was the high priest,” replied Paul.“ For it is written, You must not speak evil of a ruler of your people.”

But there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and He has let King Nebuchadnezzar know what will happen in the last days. Your dream and the visions that came into your mind as you lay in bed were these:Your Majesty, while you were in your bed, thoughts came to your mind about what will happen in the future. The revealer of mysteries has let you know what will happen.As for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because I have more wisdom than anyone living, but in order that the interpretation might be made known to the king, and that you may understand the thoughts of your mind.

Therefore I have reason to boast in Christ Jesus regarding what pertains to God.For I would not dare say anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to make the Gentiles obedient by word and deed,by the power of miraculous signs and wonders, and by the power of God’s Spirit. As a result, I have fully proclaimed the good news about the Messiah from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum.

for we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a mature man who is also able to control his whole body.

“ We had dreams,” they said to him,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

If flocks and herds were slaughtered for them, would they have enough? Or if all the fish in the sea were caught for them, would they have enough?”The Lord answered Moses,“ Is the Lord’s power limited? You will see whether or not what I have promised will happen to you.”

But I tell you, everyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. And whoever says to his brother,‘ Fool!’ will be subject to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says,‘ You moron!’ will be subject to hellfire.
