For in the Wilderness of Zin, during the strife of the congregation, you rebelled against My command to hallow Me at the waters before their eyes.”( These are the waters of Meribah, at Kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin.)

And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. Then Aaron turned toward Miriam, and there she was, a leper.

And the time we took to come from Kadesh Barnea until we crossed over the Valley of the Zered was thirty-eight years, until all the generation of the men of war was consumed from the midst of the camp, just as the Lord had sworn to them.

“ And everyone of you came near to me and said,‘ Let us send men before us, and let them search out the land for us, and bring back word to us of the way by which we should go up, and of the cities into which we shall come.’“ The plan pleased me well; so I took twelve of your men, one man from each tribe.

because you trespassed against Me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah Kadesh, in the Wilderness of Zin, because you did not hallow Me in the midst of the children of Israel.

And his sister stood afar off, to know what would be done to him.

Then his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter,“ Shall I go and call a nurse for you from the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for you?”

For I brought you up from the land of Egypt, I redeemed you from the house of bondage; And I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

So Miriam was shut out of the camp seven days, and the people did not journey till Miriam was brought in again.

When we cried out to the Lord, He heard our voice and sent the Angel and brought us up out of Egypt; now here we are in Kadesh, a city on the edge of your border.

The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; The Lord shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.
