你们都就近我来说：‘我们要先打发人去，为我们窥探那地，将我们上去该走何道，必进何城，都回报我们。’这话我以为美，就从你们中间选了十二个人，每支派一人。

因为你们在寻的旷野，加低斯的米利巴水，在以色列人中没有尊我为圣，得罪了我。

孩子的姐姐远远站着，要知道他究竟怎么样。

孩子的姐姐对法老的女儿说：“我去在希伯来妇人中叫一个奶妈来，为你奶这孩子，可以不可以？”

我曾将你从埃及地领出来，从作奴仆之家救赎你；我也差遣摩西、亚伦，和米利暗在你前面行。

于是米利暗关锁在营外七天。百姓没有行路，直等到把米利暗领进来。

我们哀求耶和华的时候，他听了我们的声音，差遣使者把我们从埃及领出来。这事你都知道。如今，我们在你边界上的城加低斯。

耶和华的声音震动旷野；耶和华震动加低斯的旷野。
