So the Israelites did everything the Lord commanded Moses; that is the way they encamped under their standards, and that is the way they set out, each of them with their clan and family.

So the Israelites did everything the Lord had commanded Moses. That’s the way they set up camp under their flags. And that’s the way they started out. Each of them marched out with their own tribe and family.

觀以色列族循其支派、而建營壘、感於上帝之神、

曰、美哉雅各之幕、以色列之室與。如陵谷之開廣、如園囿之臨河、如耶和華之植奇南香、如溪旁之有柏香木。

以色列族必遠會幕之四周、隨其纛、附宗族之旆、各列其營、

在雅各家無咎、在以色列無戾、上帝耶和華其王也、民得其祐、歡聲而呼。

我惟爾命是從、不致貽羞兮、

陟山之巖、我為顧視、高崗之巔、我為瞻望、斯族獨居、不雜於眾。雅各之裔如沙、孰能悉其數、以色列之眾、誰克稽其半、善者逝世、我願如之、彼得考終、吾竊效焉。

以色列族遵耶和華所諭摩西之命而行。

如是以色列族、循其行伍而遄征。○

二人在上帝前、義者也、遵主誡命禮儀而行、無間然矣、
