On the west will be the divisions of the camp of Ephraim under their standard. The leader of the people of Ephraim is Elishama son of Ammihud.

The groups of the camp of Ephraim will be on the west side. They will be under their flag. The leader of the tribe of Ephraim is Elishama, the son of Ammihud.

“ On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim by their companies, the chief of the people of Ephraim being Elishama the son of Ammihud,

“ The divisions of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Benjamin are to camp on the west side of the Tabernacle, beneath their family banners. These are the names of the tribes, their leaders, and the numbers of their registered troops: Tribe Leader Number Ephraim Elishama son of Ammihud 40,500

Ephraim’s military divisions will camp on the west side under their banner. The leader of the Ephraimites is Elishama son of Ammihud.

“ On the west side shall be the flag of the camp of Ephraim by their armies; and the leader of the sons of Ephraim: Elishama the son of Ammihud,

“ On the west side shall be the standard of the forces with Ephraim according to their armies, and the leader of the children of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.”

On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their hosts: and the prince of the children of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.

Ephraim’s military divisions will camp on the west side under their banner. The leader of the Ephraimites is Elishama son of Ammihud.

On the west side[ shall be] the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies: and the captain of the sons of Ephraim[ shall be] Elishama the son of Ammihud.

“ On the west will be the divisions of the camp of Ephraim under their standard. The leader of the people of Ephraim is Elishama son of Amihud.

“ On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their divisions. The prince of the children of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.

以法蓮營的旗號，按著他們的隊伍起行；統領隊伍的，是亞米忽的兒子以利沙瑪。

約瑟的子孫中，屬以法蓮支派的，有亞米忽的兒子以利沙瑪；屬瑪拿西支派的，有比大蓿的兒子迦瑪列；

但是，以色列兩手交叉，右手按在次子以法蓮的頭上，左手按在長子瑪拿西的頭上。他祝福約瑟，說：“願我祖亞伯拉罕和以撒所侍候的神，一生牧養我直到今日的神，那救我脫離一切禍患的使者，賜福給這兩個童子。願我的名，我祖亞伯拉罕和以撒的名，藉著他們得以流傳；願他們在地上生養眾多。”約瑟見他父親把右手按在以法蓮的頭上，心裡就不高興，於是拿住他父親的手，要從以法蓮的頭上移到瑪拿西的頭上。約瑟對他父親說：“爸爸啊，不是這樣，這個才是長子，請你把右手按在他的頭上。”他父親卻不肯，說：“我知道，我兒啊，我知道，他也要成為一族，也要強大；只是他弟弟比他還要強大，他的後裔要成為多族。”那一天，以色列給他們祝福，說：“以色列人要用你的名祝福人，說：‘願神使你像以法蓮和瑪拿西一樣。’”於是，以色列立以法蓮在瑪拿西之上。

作平安祭的，是兩頭公牛、五隻公綿羊、五隻公山羊、五隻一歲的公羊羔；這是亞米忽的兒子以利沙瑪的供物。

第七天來獻的，是以法蓮子孫的領袖，亞米忽的兒子以利沙瑪。

他罕的兒子是拉但，拉但的兒子是亞米忽，亞米忽的兒子是以利沙瑪，以利沙瑪的兒子是嫩，嫩的兒子是約書亞。

他頭生的公牛大有威嚴；他的兩角是野牛的角，用來牴觸萬民，直到地極；這角是以法蓮的萬萬，那角是瑪拿西的千千。”

以色列的牧者啊！帶領約瑟好像帶領羊群的啊！求你留心聽；坐在基路伯上面的啊！求你顯出榮光。在以法蓮、便雅憫和瑪拿西面前，求你施展你的大能，前來拯救我們。

我未到埃及見你之前，你在埃及地生了兩個兒子，現在他們算是我的；以法蓮和瑪拿西是我的，好像流本和西緬是我的一樣。

約瑟的兒子，以法蓮子孫的後代，照著他們的宗族、父家，根據人名數目，二十歲及以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登記了；

“我清楚聽見以法蓮為自己哀歎，說：‘你管教了我，我像一頭不馴服的牛犢受管教；求你使我回轉，我就得以回轉，因為你是耶和華我的神。我回轉以後，就深深悔悟；我醒覺以後，就拍腿悔恨。因為我承受年幼時的恥辱，我感到羞恥和慚愧。’以法蓮是我親愛的兒子嗎？是我喜悅的孩子嗎？每逢我說話攻擊他，我必再次記念他。因此，我的心戀慕他；我必定憐憫他。”這是耶和華的宣告。
