This is a lasting ordinance for them.“ The man who sprinkles the water of cleansing must also wash his clothes, and anyone who touches the water of cleansing will be unclean till evening.

如果山羊和公牛的血，以及母牛犢的灰，灑在不潔的人身上，尚且可以使他們成為聖潔，身體潔淨，何況基督的血呢？他藉著永遠的靈，把自己無瑕無疵的獻給神，他的血不是更能潔淨我們的良心脫離致死的行為，使我們可以事奉永活的神嗎？

因為公牛和山羊的血不能把罪除去。

這些只是關於飲食和各樣潔淨的禮儀，是在“更新的時候”來到之前，為肉體立的規例。

誰吃了牠的屍體，就要洗淨自己的衣服，並且不潔淨到晚上；誰拾起這屍體，也要洗淨自己的衣服，並且不潔淨到晚上。

（因為律法從來沒有使甚麼得到完全，）另一方面，它卻帶來了更美的盼望，藉著這盼望，我們就可以親近神。

那送走歸阿撒瀉勒的山羊的人，要洗淨自己的衣服，用水洗身，然後才可以進到營裡。那作贖罪祭的公牛和作贖罪祭的公山羊，牠們的血既然被帶進去為聖所贖罪，牠們的身體就要搬出營外去；牠們的皮、肉和糞都要用火燒掉。那燒祭牲的人要洗淨自己的衣服，用水洗身，然後才可以進營。

拾起牠們的屍體的，就要洗淨自己的衣服，並且不潔淨到晚上。
