那人到第三天要用这除污秽的水洁净自己，第七天就洁净了。他若在第三天不洁净自己，第七天就不洁净了。

They must purify themselves with the water on the third day and on the seventh day; then they will be clean. But if they do not purify themselves on the third and seventh days, they will not be clean.

欲使不潔者復潔、必取贖罪之犢灰、置於器皿、加以活水、蒙潔之人、浸牛膝草於中、灑幕與器、及在幕之眾、更及捫見殺者自斃者之尸、捫骨捫塚者、越至三日、及七日、潔者必灑不潔者、歷至七日、使澣衣濯身、迨夕始潔。

謂之曰、三日必備、勿御爾妻。○

三日當備、越三日、我必降臨西乃山、顯於兆民。

二三日之後、彼將甦我、使我復興、與之偕生。

以清水灑爾、使爾為潔、凡拜偶像行淫穢之事、均滌除焉。

對曰、吾子自知之、曰、彼脫大難、賴羔流血、曾滌厥衣、至於潔白、

我以所受授爾、其最要者、則基督緣吾罪死、應經所言、其葬、三日復生、亦應經所言、

無分彼此、惟以信潔其心、

祭肉有餘、留至三日、必爇以火。
