But only you and your sons may serve as priests in connection with everything at the altar and inside the curtain. I am giving you the service of the priesthood as a gift. Anyone else who comes near the sanctuary is to be put to death.”

你要囑咐亞倫和他的兒子謹守自己祭司的職任。近前來的外人必被治死。」

「要告訴你哥哥亞倫，不可隨時進聖所的幔子內、到櫃上的施恩座前，免得他死亡，因為我要從雲中顯現在施恩座上。

在以色列眾支派中，我不是揀選人作我的祭司，使他燒香，在我壇上獻祭，在我面前穿以弗得，又將以色列人所獻的火祭都賜給你父家嗎？

約翰說：「若不是從天上賜的，人就不能得甚麼。

給亞倫和他兒子束上腰帶，包上裹頭巾，他們就憑永遠的定例得了祭司的職任。又要將亞倫和他兒子分別為聖。

我本來比眾聖徒中最小的還小，然而他還賜我這恩典，叫我把基督那測不透的豐富傳給外邦人，

拿香爐，從耶和華面前的壇上盛滿火炭，又拿一捧搗細的香料，都帶入幔子內，在耶和華面前，把香放在火上，使香的煙雲遮掩法櫃上的施恩座，免得他死亡；也要取些公牛的血，用指頭彈在施恩座的東面，又在施恩座的前面彈血七次。

這大祭司的尊榮，沒有人自取。惟要蒙神所召，像亞倫一樣。

耶和華對亞倫說：「你在以色列人的境內不可有產業，在他們中間也不可有分。我就是你的分，是你的產業。」

他們要與你聯合，也要看守會幕，辦理帳幕一切的事，只是外人不可挨近你們。你們要看守聖所和壇，免得忿怒再臨到以色列人。

第二幔子後又有一層帳幕，叫作至聖所，有金香爐，有包金的約櫃，櫃裏有盛嗎哪的金罐和亞倫發過芽的杖，並兩塊約版；櫃上面有榮耀基路伯的影罩着施恩座。這幾件我現在不能一一細說。這些物件既如此預備齊了，眾祭司就常進頭一層帳幕，行拜神的禮。

給以色列人作紀念，使亞倫後裔之外的人不得近前來在耶和華面前燒香，免得他遭可拉和他一黨所遭的。這乃是照耶和華藉着摩西所吩咐的。

對可拉和他一黨的人說：「到了早晨，耶和華必指示誰是屬他的，誰是聖潔的，就叫誰親近他；他所揀選的是誰，必叫誰親近他。可拉啊，你們要這樣行，你和你的一黨要拿香爐來。明日，在耶和華面前，把火盛在爐中，把香放在其上。耶和華揀選誰，誰就為聖潔。你們這利未的子孫擅自專權了！」

但我稍微放膽寫信給你們，是要提醒你們的記性，特因神所給我的恩典，使我為外邦人作基督耶穌的僕役，作神福音的祭司，叫所獻上的外邦人，因着聖靈成為聖潔，可蒙悅納。

在帳幕前東邊，向日出之地安營的是摩西、亞倫，和亞倫的兒子。他們看守聖所，替以色列人守耶和華所吩咐的。近前來的外人必被治死。

帳幕將往前行的時候，利未人要拆卸；將支搭的時候，利未人要豎起。近前來的外人必被治死。
