But only you and your sons may serve as priests in connection with everything at the altar and inside the curtain. I am giving you the service of the priesthood as a gift. Anyone else who comes near the sanctuary is to be put to death.”

“你要告诉你的哥哥亚伦，不可随时进入圣所的幔子里面，到约柜上的施恩座，免得他死亡，因为我在施恩座上的彩云中显现。

我不是从以色列众支派中，选出他们作我的祭司，上我的坛烧香，在我面前穿以弗得吗？我不是把以色列人所献的火祭，都赐给了你的父家吗？

约翰回答：“除了从天上赐下来给他的，人就不能得到什么。

要给亚伦和他儿子束上腰带，包上头巾；这样，他们就按永远的定例，得了祭司的职分。你又要把亚伦和他儿子们分别为圣。

我本来比圣徒中最小的还小，神还是赐给我这恩典，要我把基督那测不透的丰富传给外族人，

从耶和华面前的祭坛上，拿一个盛满火炭的香炉，又拿一捧捣细的芬芳香料，带进幔子里，在耶和华面前把香放在火上，使香的烟云遮掩约柜上的施恩座，免得他死亡。他要取些公牛的血，用指头弹在施恩座的东面，再用指头在施恩座的前面，弹血七次。

没有人可以自己取得这大祭司的尊荣，只有像亚伦一样，蒙神选召的才可以。

耶和华对亚伦说：“你在以色列人的地不可有产业，在他们中间也不可有分；在以色列人中间，我就是你的分，是你的产业。

他们要与你联合，也要守会幕的本分，办理会幕的一切事务；只是外人不可走近你们。你们要看守圣所和祭坛，免得震怒再临到以色列人。

在第二层幔子后面还有一个会幕，叫作至圣所，里面有金香坛，有全部包金的约柜，柜里有盛着吗哪的金罐、亚伦那发过芽的杖和两块约板。柜的上面有荣耀的基路伯罩着施恩座，关于这一切，现在不能一一细说了。这一切物件都这样预备好了，祭司就常常进入第一进会幕，执行敬拜的事。

给以色列人作鉴戒，叫不是亚伦子孙的外人，不可近前来，在耶和华面前烧香，免得他像可拉和他的同党有一样的遭遇；这是照着耶和华藉摩西吩咐以利亚撒的。

对可拉和他的同党说：“到了早晨，耶和华就要使人知道谁是属他的；谁是圣洁的，就叫谁亲近他；谁是他拣选的，就叫谁亲近他。你们要这样作：可拉和你的同党，你们要拿香炉来；明天你们要在耶和华面前，把火盛在炉中，把香放在上面；耶和华拣选谁，谁就是圣洁的，你们利未人太过分了。”

但有些地方，我写得稍为大胆一点，是要提醒你们；我因着神赐给我的恩典，为外族人作了基督耶稣的仆役，作了神福音的祭司，使所献上的外族人得蒙悦纳，靠着圣灵成为圣洁。

在帐幕前面东边，就是在会幕前向日出的方向安营的，是摩西、亚伦和亚伦的儿子；他们代替以色列人应尽的职责，看守圣所；外人近前来，必被治死。

帐幕要起行的时候，利未人要把它拆卸下来；帐幕要支搭的时候，利未人要把它竖立起来；如果有外人走近，必须处死。
