You and your households may eat the rest of it anywhere, for it is your wages for your work at the tent of meeting.

这不全是为我们说的吗？当然是为我们说的，因为耕种的应当存着希望去耕种，收割的也应当存着希望去分享收获。我们既然在你们中间撒了属灵的种子，如果要从你们那里收获一些物质的供应，这算是过分吗？如果别人在你们身上享有这种权利，我们不是更可以享有吗？然而我们没有用过这种权利，反而凡事容忍，免得我们拦阻了基督的福音。难道你们不知道，在圣殿供职的，就吃殿中的供物；侍候祭坛的，就分领坛上的祭物吗？主也曾这样吩咐，叫传福音的人靠福音为生。

那些善于治理教会的长老，尤其是那些在讲道和教导上劳苦的长老，你们应当看他们是配受加倍的敬重和供奉的。因为经上说：“牛踹谷的时候，不可笼住它的嘴。”又说：“作工的配得工价。”

你们要住在那家，吃喝他们所供给的，因为作工的理当得工资；不必从这家搬到那家。

路上不要带行囊，也不要带两件衣裳，不要带鞋或手杖，因为作工的理当得到供应。

除了我自己没有成为你们的重担以外，你们还有什么比不上别的教会呢？这一点委屈，请原谅我吧！

“你要把你撒种所产的，就是田地每年所出的，献上十分之一。又要把你的五谷、新酒和新油的十分之一，以及你牛群羊群中头生的，在耶和华你的神面前吃，就是在他选择作他名的居所的地方吃，好使你可以学习常常敬畏耶和华你的神。

在圣道上受教的，应该和施教的人分享自己的一切美物。
