“ I give to the Levites all the tithes in Israel as their inheritance in return for the work they do while serving at the tent of meeting.

“ The Israelites will give me a tenth of everything they produce. And I will give it to the Levites. They serve at the tent of meeting. I will give them the tenth for the work they do there.

“ To the Levites I have given every tithe in Israel for an inheritance, in return for their service that they do, their service in the tent of meeting,

As for the tribe of Levi, your relatives, I will compensate them for their service in the Tabernacle. Instead of an allotment of land, I will give them the tithes from the entire land of Israel.

“ Look, I have given the Levites every tenth in Israel as an inheritance in return for the work they do, the work of the tent of meeting.

“ To the sons of Levi, behold, I have given all the tithe in Israel as an inheritance, in return for their service which they perform, the service of the tent of meeting.

“ Behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tithes in Israel as an inheritance in return for the work which they perform, the work of the tabernacle of meeting.

And unto the children of Levi, behold, I have given all the tithe in Israel for an inheritance, in return for their service which they serve, even the service of the tent of meeting.

“ Look, I have given the Levites every tenth in Israel as an inheritance in return for the work they do, the work of the tent of meeting.

And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve,[ even] the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.

See, I have given the Levites all the tithes in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they perform– the service of the tent of meeting.

“ To the children of Levi, behold, I have given all the tithe in Israel for an inheritance, in return for their service which they serve, even the service of the Tent of Meeting.

“ Moreover, we will bring to the storerooms of the house of our God, to the priests, the first of our ground meal, of our grain offerings, of the fruit of all our trees and of our new wine and olive oil. And we will bring a tithe of our crops to the Levites, for it is the Levites who collect the tithes in all the towns where we work. (niv)

At that time men were appointed to be in charge of the storerooms for the contributions, firstfruits and tithes. From the fields around the towns they were to bring into the storerooms the portions required by the Law for the priests and the Levites, for Judah was pleased with the ministering priests and Levites. (niv)

Now the law requires the descendants of Levi who become priests to collect a tenth from the people— that is, from their fellow Israelites— even though they also are descended from Abraham. (niv)

Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year.Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the Lord your God always.But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the Lord your God and cannot carry your tithe( because the place where the Lord will choose to put his Name is so far away),then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the Lord your God will choose.Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice.And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own.At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns,so that the Levites( who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands. (niv)

And praise be to God Most High, who delivered your enemies into your hand.” Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything. (niv)

Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor. (niv)

Don’t you know that those who serve in the temple get their food from the temple, and that those who serve at the altar share in what is offered on the altar?In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel. (niv)

You must not eat in your own towns the tithe of your grain and new wine and olive oil, or the firstborn of your herds and flocks, or whatever you have vowed to give, or your freewill offerings or special gifts.Instead, you are to eat them in the presence of the Lord your God at the place the Lord your God will choose— you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites from your towns— and you are to rejoice before the Lord your God in everything you put your hand to.Be careful not to neglect the Levites as long as you live in your land. (niv)

All Judah brought the tithes of grain, new wine and olive oil into the storerooms. (niv)

Then they faithfully brought in the contributions, tithes and dedicated gifts. Konaniah, a Levite, was the overseer in charge of these things, and his brother Shimei was next in rank. (niv)

I myself have selected your fellow Levites from among the Israelites as a gift to you, dedicated to the Lord to do the work at the tent of meeting. (niv)

As soon as the order went out, the Israelites generously gave the firstfruits of their grain, new wine, olive oil and honey and all that the fields produced. They brought a great amount, a tithe of everything.The people of Israel and Judah who lived in the towns of Judah also brought a tithe of their herds and flocks and a tithe of the holy things dedicated to the Lord their God, and they piled them in heaps. all these now join their fellow Israelites the nobles, and bind themselves with a curse and an oath to follow the Law of God given through Moses the servant of God and to obey carefully all the commands, regulations and decrees of the Lord our Lord. (niv)

Instead, I give to the Levites as their inheritance the tithes that the Israelites present as an offering to the Lord. That is why I said concerning them:‘ They will have no inheritance among the Israelites.’”The Lord said to Moses,“ Speak to the Levites and say to them:‘ When you receive from the Israelites the tithe I give you as your inheritance, you must present a tenth of that tithe as the Lord’s offering. “‘ A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord.Whoever would redeem any of their tithe must add a fifth of the value to it.Every tithe of the herd and flock— every tenth animal that passes under the shepherd’s rod— will be holy to the Lord.No one may pick out the good from the bad or make any substitution. If anyone does make a substitution, both the animal and its substitute become holy and cannot be redeemed.’” (niv)

They are to perform duties for him and for the whole community at the tent of meeting by doing the work of the tabernacle.They are to take care of all the furnishings of the tent of meeting, fulfilling the obligations of the Israelites by doing the work of the tabernacle. (niv)
