可攜爾兄弟、即屬汝祖利未支派者、偕汝而供役事、惟爾及子孫、宜在法幕前、

爾及子孫、在法匱前、會幕中、供其役事、亦可取利未族諸兄弟、歸之於己、以為輔翼。

爾之兄弟、即屬爾祖家利未支派之人、可使之前來歸爾、役事爾、惟爾與爾子孫俱在法幕前供職、

Bring your fellow Levites from your ancestral tribe to join you and assist you when you and your sons minister before the tent of the covenant law.

Bring the Levites from your tribe to join you. They will help you when you and your sons serve at the tent of meeting. That is where the tablets of the covenant law are kept.

And with you bring your brothers also, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, that they may join you and minister to you while you and your sons with you are before the tent of the testimony.

“ Bring your relatives of the tribe of Levi— your ancestral tribe— to assist you and your sons as you perform the sacred duties in front of the Tabernacle of the Covenant.

But also bring your relatives with you from the tribe of Levi, your ancestral tribe, so they may join you and assist you and your sons in front of the tent of the testimony.

But also bring your brothers with you, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, so that they may join you and serve you, while you and your sons with you are before the tent of the testimony.

Also bring with you your brethren of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, that they may be joined with you and serve you while you and your sons are with you before the tabernacle of witness.

And thy brethren also, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring thou near with thee, that they may be joined unto thee, and minister unto thee: but thou and thy sons with thee shall be before the tent of the testimony.

她又懷孕生子，說：「我給丈夫生了三個兒子，現在，這次他必親近我了。」因此，雅各給他起名叫利未。

「你要帶利未支派近前來，站在亞倫祭司面前伺候他。他們要替他，又替全會眾，在會幕前執行任務，辦理帳幕的事。他們要看守會幕一切的器具，為以色列人執行任務，辦理帳幕的事。你要把利未人給亞倫和他的兒子；他們是從以色列人中選出來完全給他的。你要指派亞倫和他的兒子謹守祭司的職分；近前來的外人必被處死。」耶和華吩咐摩西說：「看哪，我從以色列人中選了利未人，代替以色列人中所有頭胎的長子；利未人要歸我。因為凡頭生的是我的；我在埃及地擊殺所有頭生的那日，就把以色列中所有頭生的，無論是人或牲畜，都分別為聖歸我；他們定要屬我。我是耶和華。」

還有撒督祭司和他弟兄眾祭司在基遍的丘壇、耶和華的帳幕前，在燔祭壇上，每日早晚，照着寫在耶和華律法書上所吩咐以色列的，經常獻燔祭給耶和華。

然後利未人進去，在亞倫和他兒子面前，在會幕中事奉。關於利未人，耶和華怎樣吩咐摩西，他們就向利未人照樣做了。

他們要與你聯合，負責看守會幕和帳幕一切的事；只是外人不可挨近你們。

我從以色列人中將利未人給亞倫和他的兒子作為賞賜，在會幕中為以色列人事奉，又為以色列人贖罪，免得以色列人因挨近聖所而遭受災禍。」

「拔營的時候，亞倫和他兒子把聖所和聖所一切的器具蓋好之後，哥轄的子孫才好來抬，免得他們摸聖物而死；這是哥轄子孫在會幕裏所當抬的。

摩西把這些杖放在耶和華面前，在法櫃的帳幕裏。

給以色列人作紀念，為要叫亞倫子孫之外的人不得近前來，在耶和華面前燒香，免得他和可拉與同他一夥的人一樣，正如耶和華藉摩西所吩咐的。

「以色列人走迷離開我的時候，利未家的祭司撒督的子孫仍然盡看守我聖所的職責；因此他們必親近我，事奉我，並且侍立在我面前，把脂肪與血獻給我。這是主耶和華說的。

他們遵照神人摩西的律法，按定例站在自己的地方；祭司從利未人手裏接過血來，灑出去。
