“ But you must not redeem the firstborn of a cow, a sheep or a goat; they are holy. Splash their blood against the altar and burn their fat as a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.

他要按手在供物的頭上，宰於會幕門口。亞倫子孫作祭司的，要把血灑在壇的周圍。從平安祭中，將火祭獻給耶和華，也要把蓋臟的脂油和臟上所有的脂油，並兩個腰子和腰子上的脂油，就是靠腰兩旁的脂油，與肝上的網子和腰子，一概取下。亞倫的子孫要把這些燒在壇的燔祭上，就是在火的柴上，是獻與耶和華為馨香的火祭。

「你牛羣羊羣中頭生的，凡是公的，都要分別為聖，歸耶和華－你的神。牛羣中頭生的，不可用牠耕地；羊羣中頭生的，不可剪毛。這頭生的，你和你的家屬，每年要在耶和華所選擇的地方，在耶和華－你神面前吃。這頭生的若有甚麼殘疾，就如瘸腿的、瞎眼的，無論有甚麼惡殘疾，都不可獻給耶和華－你的神；可以在你城裏吃；潔淨人與不潔淨人都可以吃，就如吃羚羊與鹿一般。

要宰這羊，把血灑在壇的周圍。
