David built an altar there to honor the Lord. He sacrificed burnt offerings and friendship offerings. Then the Lord answered David’s prayer and blessed the land. The plague on Israel was stopped.

Then the Lord sent down fire. It burned up the 250 men offering the incense.

So each of them got his cup. He put burning coals and incense in it. All the men came with Moses and Aaron. They stood at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

He followed the man into the tent. Phinehas stuck the spear through the man and into the woman’s stomach. Then the Lord stopped the plague against the Israelites.But the plague had already killed 24,000 of them.The Lord said to Moses,“ Phinehas is a priest. He is the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron. Phinehas has turned my anger away from the Israelites. I am committed to making sure I am honored among them. And he is as committed as I am. So even though I was angry with them, I did not put an end to them.

But Jesus lives forever. So he always holds the office of priest.People now come to God through him. And he is able to save them completely and for all time. Jesus lives forever. He prays for them.

But Phinehas stood up and took action. Then the plague stopped.

Later Jesus found him at the temple. Jesus said to him,“ See, you are well again. Stop sinning, or something worse may happen to you.”

The angel reached his hand out to destroy Jerusalem. But the Lord stopped sending the plague. So he spoke to the angel who was making the people suffer. He said,“ That is enough! Do not kill any more people.” The angel of the Lord was at Araunah’s threshing floor. Araunah was from the city of Jebus.David saw the angel who was striking down the people. David said to the Lord,“ I’m the one who has sinned. I’m the one who has done what is wrong. I’m like a shepherd for these people. These people are like sheep. What have they done? Let your judgment be on me and my family.”

They tell about how you are waiting for his Son to come from heaven. God raised him from the dead. He is Jesus. He saves us from God’s anger, and his anger is sure to come.

So confess your sins to one another. Pray for one another so that you might be healed. The prayer of a godly person is powerful. Things happen because of it.

There is only one God. And there is only one go- between for God and human beings. He is the man Christ Jesus.He gave himself to pay for the sins of all people. We have been told this message at just the right time.
