全會眾都說要扔石頭把這二人砍死。永恆主的榮光卻在會棚中向以色列眾人顯現。

永恆主的榮耀停於西乃山，那雲彩把山遮蓋了六天；第七天永恆主從雲中呼召摩西。

當時有雲彩遮蓋着會棚，永恆主的榮耀充滿着那帳幕。摩西不能進會棚，因為有雲彩如帳幕停在那上頭，永恆主的榮耀充滿着那帳幕。

早晨、你們要看見永恆主的榮耀，因為永恆主聽見了你們向他發的怨言了。我們算甚麼？你們竟向我們發怨言啊？』
