二人乃俯伏曰、上帝乎、爾以生氣賜於億兆、曷以一人獲罪、而怒及會眾。

摩西、亚伦就俯伏在地，说：“神，万人之灵的神啊，一人犯罪，你就要向全会众发怒吗？”

摩西、亚伦脸伏于地，说：“上帝，赐万人气息的上帝啊，一人犯罪，你就要向全会众发怒吗？”

摩西、亚伦脸伏于地，说：“神，赐万人气息的神啊，一人犯罪，你就要向全会众发怒吗？”

摩西和亚伦就伏在地上说：“上帝啊，赐人生命的上帝啊！一人犯罪，你就要向全体会众发怒吗？”

摩西和亚伦就俯伏在地，说：“神啊，万人之灵的神啊，一人犯罪，你就要向全体会众发怒吗？”

摩西、亞倫就俯伏在地，說：「神，萬人之靈的神啊，一人犯罪，你就要向全會眾發怒嗎？」

摩西、亞倫臉伏於地，說：「上帝，賜萬人氣息的上帝啊，一人犯罪，你就要向全會眾發怒嗎？」

摩西、亞倫臉伏於地，說：「神，賜萬人氣息的神啊，一人犯罪，你就要向全會眾發怒嗎？」

摩西和亞倫就伏在地上說：「上帝啊，賜人生命的上帝啊！一人犯罪，你就要向全體會眾發怒嗎？」

摩西和亞倫就俯伏在地，說：“神啊，萬人之靈的神啊，一人犯罪，你就要向全體會眾發怒嗎？”

摩西、亞倫就臉伏於地說：『上帝啊，萬人之靈的上帝啊，一個人犯罪、你就要惱怒全會眾麼？』

二人俯伏曰、上帝、世人諸神之上帝歟、曷因一人干罪、而怒及會眾乎、

摩西亞倫俯伏於地曰、天主賜生氣於一切身軀者、或作天主賜生命於凡有血氣者一人犯罪、而主震怒全會乎、

But Moses and Aaron fell facedown and cried out,“ O God, the God who gives breath to all living things, will you be angry with the entire assembly when only one man sins?”

But Moses and Aaron fell with their faces to the ground. They cried out,“ God, you are the God who gives life and breath to all living things. Will you be angry with the whole community when only one man sins?”

And they fell on their faces and said,“ O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and will you be angry with all the congregation?”

But Moses and Aaron fell face down on the ground.“ O God,” they pleaded,“ you are the God who gives breath to all creatures. Must you be angry with all the people when only one man sins?”

But Moses and Aaron fell facedown and said,“ God, God who gives breath to all, when one man sins, will you vent your wrath on the whole community?”

But they fell on their faces and said,“ God, the God of the spirits of humanity, when one person sins, will You be angry with the entire congregation?”

Then they fell on their faces, and said,“ O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and You be angry with all the congregation?”

And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?

But Moses and Aaron fell facedown and said,“ God, God of the spirits of all flesh, when one man sins, will You vent Your wrath on the whole community?”

And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?

Then they threw themselves down with their faces to the ground and said,“ O God, the God of the spirits of all people, will you be angry with the whole community when only one man sins?”

They fell on their faces, and said,“ God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and will you be angry with all the congregation?”

耶和華上帝乎、爾以生氣賜於億兆、請立一人、統轄會眾、

人本摶土所為、死則返本、人之魂靈為上帝所賦畀、死則歸乎上帝。○

耶和華展舒穹蒼、建立地極、以生氣賜億兆、乃論以色列族之事、而頒其命曰、

獸之生命、人之性靈、操自上帝。

生我身之父責我、而我敬之、況賦我神之父、豈不當誠服以得永生乎、

摩西亞倫俯伏於以色列會眾前。○

即之曰、為善為惡者、豈可槩滅之乎。邑中或有五十義人、則邑之人、豈可盡滅、何不緣義人、而赦其罪乎、並誅善惡不可、待善惡相等亦不可、鞫天下者、豈不行義乎。

我之責人、不恆蓄怒、恐予所造之人、膽喪氣餒、

大闢見擊民之天使、則曰、我犯罪行惡、何與群羊、請爾攻我、及我父之家。

是眾見擬者、以一人之愆、稱義而生者、以一人之義也、

曰主毋怒、敢復進一辭而後已、或止十人、則何如。曰、十人吾亦弗滅。

離此會眾、我將速滅之、二人俯伏。

摩西聽之、俯伏於地、

隱惡、信善、望人之美、忍己之難、

耶和華復怒以色列族、任大闢眩惑於衷、使核猶大以色列二族、

以色列族犯所獻之物而取戾、蓋猶大支派、西喇曾孫、颯底孫。迦米子亞干、取所獻之物、故耶和華怒以色列族。○約書亞自耶利哥、遣人至伯特利東、近伯亞文之埃邑、而告之曰、爾往窺察埃地、爰往窺之、返見約書亞曰、往毋庸眾、欲擊埃邑、二三千人斯可矣、埃人維寡、何勞眾往。於是民三千人往、為埃人所敗而遁。埃人追之、自城門至示巴林、於下坡處、擊三十六人、故民喪膽、荏弱如水。約書亞裂衣、俯伏耶和華匱前、彼及以色列族、蒙灰於首、至於薄暮。約書亞曰、我主耶和華與、曷導斯民濟約但、付於亞摩哩人手、使我危亡乎。不如我仍居約但東為幸。主乎、以色列族敗北、我何言哉。迦南人、與斯土居民、聞之必環而攻我、滅我名於地、然爾名維大、如何使人尊崇。耶和華諭約書亞曰、爾起、曷俯伏於此。以色列族犯罪、背我命約、當獻之物為其攘竊、匿於器中、而佯循我命、故以色列族服咒敗北、不得禦敵、如不以當獻之物出於爾中、我不復佑爾。盍起、成聖斯民、使潔己身、以待明晨、將我命傳眾曰、以色列族與、有獻我之物、藏於爾間、未出斯物、爾不能禦敵。詰朝、必使各支派至而掣籤、其中我取一支派、必使各族至、其中我取一族、必使各家至、其中我取一家、必使各人至、我取其人、既藏所獻之物、則必爇之、與凡所有、緣背我約、行不端於以色列族中。約書亞夙興、使以色列各支派至、製籤而取猶大、使猶大各族至、而取西喇、使西喇各家至、而取颯底、使其家各人至、而取猶大支派、西喇曾孫、颯底孫、迦米子亞干。約書亞告亞干曰、吾子宜尊耶和華、以色列之上帝、任過於其前、以所行告我、勿隱。亞干曰、我之所行、果犯罪耶和華、以色列之上帝。我見於貨財中、自示拿至之美衣、銀百兩、金片二十五兩、則貪而取之、今在幕中、藏於地、銀置於下。約書亞遣人趨幕、果在幕中、銀置於下。攜至約書亞、及以色列族、置於耶和華前。約書亞暨以色列族、取西喇孫亞干、與金銀衣服、及子女、牛羊、驢幕、與凡所有、至亞割谷。約書亞曰、爾何貽禍於我、今日耶和華必禍爾。時以色列族擊之以石、爇之以火、堆石為岡、以掩其上、至今猶存。於是耶和華息其烈怒、人名其地亞割谷、至於今日尚有此稱。
