You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes.

惟徇己心之剛愎、從諸巴力、即其祖所教者、

當以之為號於手、為記於額、俾耶和華之法律、恆在爾口、蓋耶和華施厥大能、導爾出埃及、

若弗聽之、轉離我今所諭爾之道、而從素所未識之神、則必受詛、既至爾上帝耶和華導入為業之地、當以祝詞宣於基利心山、以詛詞宣於以巴路山、此二山、非在約但西、日入之處、居亞拉巴之迦南人境內、與吉甲相對、近摩利之橡林乎、爾將渡約但、入據爾上帝耶和華所賜之地、而居於彼、我今陳於爾前之典章律例、當謹守遵行焉、

我今命爾之言、當存於心、勤誨子女、坐於室、行於路、或寢或興、恆論乎此、繫於手以為號、戴於額以為飾、書於爾室門柱、及爾邑門、○

爾當謹慎、免忘爾上帝耶和華與爾所立之約、為己雕偶、仿其所禁諸物之像、

淫亂者乎、爾豈不知友於世、乃敵上帝乎、凡欲為世之友者、自為上帝敵也、

當斯時也、慎勿忘耶和華、即導爾出埃及、脫於奴隸之室者、

聞此詛言、猶中心自慰曰、我雖剛愎自用、渴時痛飲、亦可獲安、

其與爾母爭辯、爭辯、蓋彼非我妻、我非其夫、使除其面上之淫、去其懷中之姦、
