“‘ But the person who acts defiantly, whether native-born or a resident foreigner, insults the LORD. That person must be cut off from among his people.

但那以高傲手段行事的人、無論是本地人、是寄居的、他是褻瀆永恆主的，那人總須從他的族人中被剪除。

如其故犯、乃褻瀆耶和華、不論宗族賓旅、必絕於民中、

若其犯罪、毫無畏葸、則欺我孰甚、不論宗族賓旅必殄絕於民中。

無論為土著、為外邦客旅、若敢故犯、即褻瀆主、其人必滅絕於民中、

“‘ But anyone who sins defiantly, whether native- born or foreigner, blasphemes the Lord and must be cut off from the people of Israel.

“‘ But suppose someone sins on purpose. It does not matter whether they are an Israelite or an outsider. They speak evil things against the Lord. They must be separated from the community of Israel.

But the person who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native or a sojourner, reviles the Lord, and that person shall be cut off from among his people.

“ But those who brazenly violate the Lord’s will, whether native born Israelites or foreigners, have blasphemed the Lord, and they must be cut off from the community.

“ But the person who acts defiantly, whether native or resident alien, blasphemes the LORD. That person is to be cut off from his people.

But the person who does wrong defiantly, whether he is a native or a stranger, that one is blaspheming the Lord; and that person shall be cut off from among his people.

‘ But the person who does anything presumptuously, whether he is native-born or a stranger, that one brings reproach on the Lord, and he shall be cut off from among his people.

But the soul that doeth aught with a high hand, whether he be home- born or a sojourner, the same blasphemeth Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

“ But the person who acts defiantly, whether native or foreign resident, blasphemes the Lord. That person is to be cut off from his people.

But the soul that doeth[ ought] presumptuously,[ whether he be] born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

“‘ But the soul who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native- born or a foreigner, blasphemes Yahweh. That soul shall be cut off from among his people.

For if we deliberately keep on sinning after receiving the knowledge of the truth, no further sacrifice for sins is left for us,

I spoke to you, but you did not listen. Instead you rebelled against the LORD and recklessly went up to the hill country.

Moreover, keep me from committing flagrant sins; do not allow such sins to control me. Then I will be blameless, and innocent of blatant rebellion.

The person who pays no attention to the priest currently serving the LORD your God there, or to the verdict– that person must die, so that you may purge evil from Israel.Then all the people will hear and be afraid, and not be so presumptuous again.

When such a person hears the words of this oath he secretly blesses himself and says,“ I will have peace though I continue to walk with a stubborn spirit.” This will destroy the watered ground with the parched.The LORD will be unwilling to forgive him, and his intense anger will rage against that man; all the curses written in this scroll will fall upon him and the LORD will obliterate his name from memory.

Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

How much greater punishment do you think that person deserves who has contempt for the Son of God, and profanes the blood of the covenant that made him holy, and insults the Spirit of grace?

Whom have you taunted and hurled insults at? At whom have you shouted and looked so arrogantly? At the Holy One of Israel!Through your messengers you taunted the sovereign master,‘ With my many chariots I climbed up the high mountains, the slopes of Lebanon. I cut down its tall cedars and its best evergreens. I invaded its most remote regions, its thickest woods.

especially those who indulge their fleshly desires and who despise authority. Brazen and insolent, they are not afraid to insult the glorious ones,

But if a man willfully attacks his neighbor to kill him cunningly, you will take him even from my altar that he may die.

Your enemies, O LORD, hurl insults; they insult your chosen king as they dog his footsteps.

Remember how the enemy hurls insults, O LORD, and how a foolish nation blasphemes your name!

But the man who is ceremonially clean, and was not on a journey, and fails to keep the Passover, that person must be cut off from his people. Because he did not bring the LORD’s offering at its appointed time, that man must bear his sin.

And early in the morning they went up to the crest of the hill country, saying,“ Here we are, and we will go up to the place that the LORD commanded, for we have sinned.”But Moses said,“ Why are you now transgressing the commandment of the LORD? It will not succeed!Do not go up, for the LORD is not among you, and you will be defeated before your enemies.For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and you will fall by the sword. Because you have turned away from the LORD, the LORD will not be with you.”But they dared to go up to the crest of the hill, although neither the ark of the covenant of the LORD nor Moses departed from the camp.

Rise up, O God! Defend your honor! Remember how fools insult you all day long!

Pay back our neighbors in full! May they be insulted the same way they insulted you, O Lord!

Certainly zeal for your house consumes me; I endure the insults of those who insult you.

Any uncircumcised male who has not been circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin will be cut off from his people– he has failed to carry out my requirement.”

“‘ The person who turns to the spirits of the dead and familiar spirits to commit prostitution by going after them, I will set my face against that person and cut him off from the midst of his people.

The one who oppresses the poor insults his Creator, but whoever shows favor to the needy honors him.

If a man commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.

I myself will set my face against that man and cut him off from the midst of his people, because he has given some of his children to Molech and thereby defiled my sanctuary and profaned my holy name.
