“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel.“ When you arrive in the land where I am taking you,

“ Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them,‘ When you enter the land where I am bringing you,

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them:‘ When you come into the land to which I bring you,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you,

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: After you enter the land where I am bringing you,

爾告以色列人曰、爾既至我所賜爾以居之地、

爾既至主爾天主所賜爾為業之地、得而居之、則當以主爾天主賜爾之地所出首熟之土產、盛於筐內、詣主爾之天主所將選為其名所在之處、往見當日為祭司者、謂之曰、我今日敬告主爾之天主、我已至主所誓於我列祖欲賜我之地、祭司取筐於爾手、置之主爾天主之祭臺前、爾在主爾之天主前、當敬告曰、我祖亞蘭人飄流無定、飄流無定或作窘迫將亡攜人無多以往伊及、乃旅於彼、在彼成為大族、強盛蕃衍、伊及人惡待我儕、虐遇我儕、以苦役逼勒我儕、我儕呼籲主我列祖之天主、主垂聽我聲、鑒我所受之困苦艱難暴虐、主遂以大能大威、異跡奇事、大而可畏之事、導我出伊及、導我至此、以此流乳與蜜之地賜我、主所賜我之地、今我攜其首熟之土產至、禱告既畢、遂以筐供於主爾之天主前、且於主爾之天主前崇拜、緣主爾之天主以福賜爾及爾眷屬、可欣喜歡樂、亦使利未人與寄居爾間之外邦客旅皆然、○每至三年、即輸什一之年、凡諸土產、什輸其一畢、以給利未人及客旅孤寡、使於爾邑中食之而飽、則當於主爾之天主前敬告曰、我已以聖物出於我家、給利未人與客旅孤寡、循主所諭我、主之命令、我未干犯、亦未遺忘、此聖物、居喪之時、我未食之、為不潔之事、我未取之、為葬死者用、我未予之、我聽從主我天主之命、循主所諭我而行、求主自天上自聖所俯鑒、賜福於主之民以色列、並於主所賜我之地、即主所誓許我祖賜我流乳與蜜之地、○
