「你們進入你們的上帝耶和華將要賜給你們作產業的土地，征服那裡，安居下來以後，要把在那裡收穫的各種初熟的物產放在籃子裡，帶到你們的上帝耶和華選定的敬拜場所。你們要對當值的祭司說，『今天我們要向我們的上帝耶和華宣告，我們已經進入祂向我們祖先起誓要賜給我們的土地。』祭司要從你們手中接過籃子，放在你們的上帝耶和華的祭壇前。你們要在你們的上帝耶和華面前宣告，『我們的祖先原是到處流浪的亞蘭人。他到埃及寄居時，家中人丁稀少，後來成為人口眾多的強大民族。埃及人苦待我們，壓迫我們，強迫我們做奴隸。於是，我們呼求我們祖先的上帝耶和華。祂聽見我們的呼求，看見我們的艱難、困苦和所受的壓迫，就伸出臂膀，用大能的手行神蹟奇事，以偉大而可畏的作為帶領我們離開埃及。祂帶領我們來到這個地方，把這奶蜜之鄉賜給我們。耶和華啊，現在我們從你賜給我們的土地上帶來初熟的物產。』你們要把籃子放在你們的上帝耶和華面前，敬拜祂。你們和利未人以及住在你們中間的外族人，都要因你們的上帝耶和華賜給你們和你們家人的美物而歡喜快樂。「每逢第三年是十一奉獻年。你們應當把自己的十一奉獻拿出來分給利未人、寄居者和孤兒寡婦，使他們在你們居住的城邑吃飽喝足。然後，你們要在你們的上帝耶和華面前宣告，『我們已經按照你的誡命，從我們家裡拿出聖物分給利未人、寄居者和孤兒寡婦。我們沒有觸犯也沒有忘記你的任何誡命。這些聖物，我們守喪期間沒有吃過，不潔淨時沒有拿過，也沒有獻給死人。我們聽從你——我們的上帝耶和華，遵行你的一切吩咐。求你從天上聖潔的居所垂看，賜福給你的以色列子民和你賜給我們的土地——你向我們祖先起誓應許的奶蜜之鄉。』
