義人必按照審判淫婦和流人血之婦人的規條，審判她們；因為她們是淫婦，她們的手中有血。」主耶和華如此說：「我要讓軍隊上來攻擊她們，使她們驚駭，成為擄物。這軍隊必用石頭打死她們，用刀劍殺害她們，又殺戮她們的兒女，用火焚燒她們的房屋。我必使這地不再有淫行，所有的婦女都受警戒，不再效法你們的淫行。人必因你們的淫行報應你們；你們要擔當拜偶像的罪，因此你們就知道我是主耶和華。」

現在，看哪，耶和華照他所說的使我活了這四十五年。當以色列人在曠野飄流的時候，耶和華曾對摩西說了這話。現在，看哪，我已經八十五歲了。

男人可免罪責；女人必須擔當自己的罪孽。」
